In this era Ahsoka would be 18, Talon 15-16 probably.

 

It would be an interesting story how Maul ends up on Malachor without Talon searching for him, or that why Maul and Talon didn't meet after Maul escaped from Malachor.

Perhaps Talon will betray Maul as its the nature of the dark side, thats why we didn't see Maul and Talon in Rebels, thats of course if Talon survives that long and she should survive even longer than that.

 

Watch that the plot twist ends up being that Maul ends up on Malachor not because Talon betrayed him but as a way of keeping her safe. How I don't know but I feel like there will be an odd father-daughter relationship to the two.

Then it turns out that Talon really is Maul's daughter that he sired before TPM.

 

I think it will be a a father and daughter relationship, similar to his uncle relationship with Ezra. And Sam says what does Maul do when he is training her, in his own way and not like a Sith he was thaught. What will Maul's legacy be with Talon.

 

Are we sure Talon would be the main protagonist? I could see Maul having a few “apprentices/acolytes/candidates”: Talon, Qi’ra, and a couple others. Unless they redeem Talon, which would make her not a villain to have later on (which I think is part of the appeal of her, to become that villain with potential for future stories, a Ventress who stays dark) I think the protagonist would make the most sense to be someone else, with Talon as the frenemy/rival/co-protagonist who eventually becomes a true enemy as the protagonist is drawn to the light. I just don’t see them doing a show, especially featuring a younger character, who is bad and just gets worse, as the main/only protagonist.

 

Until we hear otherwise Talon is the main protagonist. Sam talked about her as she is his one apprentice and Qira dosent come into the picture 9 years later.

I think since animation has always been about looking through the young characters. Maul is the he Main character with Talon like Anakin Skywalker was with Ahsoka in The Clone Wars.
