Neither Happy NOR Venting-Just stuff!

I CAN'T get motivated today, well yesterday as well

 

Trying to grind whole cloves into clove powder using a mortar and pestle is very inefficient.

 

Coffee bean grinder would work better, and then the mortar & pestle

Also, using only the heads of the clove, and not the stems

 

Three more days. I just have to make it three more days.

Yeah, I figured a grinder would work better. I don't drink coffee though, so no grinder at my house. I didn't know about using the heads and not the stems, though. Thanks!

 

I have do much housework to get done! Ugh. It's not like it's incredibly messy, but that whole spring cleaning thing, where you clean above what you normally skate by with, needs to be done before I have company over this weekend.

Plus, I have to fix my couches. I have to replace two zippers in seat cushions. Meh.

I called my Dad in Houston during the Texans game in overtime and he answered the phone! That's love.

 

My washer machine downstairs is unbalanced and making a knocking sound. It reminds me of apartment living when I could hear the horizontal tango from the neighbors. Ewww.

 

I just had my boss and her family over for dinner. Between that and us being friends on FB, I guess we have weird boundaries. But I had fun! I'll let you know when it backfires.

 

I think it is so bizarre that the simplest thing like opening a Star Wars Insider Special Edition to the inside cover page, where there is a an ad for Brian's Toys, that has a full page spread of all toys Star Wars and there is an item on said page that makes You go "Oh Snap! I gotta have that!" and then makes You go on the interwebs and then makes You go to their website where You search for must have item and then made me want to go to the manufacture's website where said item is for Pre-Order and won't be arriving til July of Next Year!!!... but I bought it anyways!

Had Angel not pleaded with Me to go to Barnes & Nobles today for her Anime Magazine, I would have never known that it existed and therefore would not have succumbed to my weakness that is Star Wars Merchandise!... all because I turned one page.

 

Quite the stack of dominoes in that chain of events!
