Found Morgan Elsbeth at Ross for $5 yesterday.

I saw a holocomm Ahsoka at a different Ross on Xmas Eve but skipped because the line was so damn long. I may go back to see if it's still there are marked down to $5(it was $10), just for the light stand. I would use that for Force ghosts too.

Found Vernestra Rwoh at Target. Good figure. They reused Ventress' legs because Vern's legs are never shown in her Temple robes. Clever short cut imo.

I really do wish they had included a light whip blade, because a mission robes variant is probably never going to happen, let alone her stellar formal Senate Jedi robes from the end of the series.

Overall, I think it's a very nice figure. All the Acolyte figures have been pretty great imo.

I also saw Bazil, but don't really want the character.

ROTS Sidious is currently on sale on Amazon FYI.

Bazil was a fun character, just not on my priority list for collecting. Same with the Skeleton Crew figures, I love the show and the characters but they aren't really in my collecting space. Except maybe for the Wolfman dude, that figure looks really cool!

 

I got both Bazil and Vernestra this weekend, they were pre-orders. They look great. All of the Acolyte figures are amazing.

I'm on the prowl to find a pre-order for CW General Kenobi. I did find a pre-order for CW General Skywalker - he's up at Big Bad Toy Store if anyone needs to pre-order him.

Got my Momaw Nadon, fantastic figure. I haven't taken him out of package yet, but he really is well designed.

 

Got Kelnacca today! Great figure!

I definitely hope they use him as a basis for making a Burryaga.

On a sad note, I really need to get some new figure stands. I've had 2 Jedi tumble off the shelf recently and have their lightsaber pegs break off in the hilt.

Please know that my liking your post was because of the figure reveals, and not for the fact that your Jedi have taken a tumble.

Because I sympathise. I often sort, clean, and re-arrange my shelves over winter, only to then find that when summer hits, some of the more unstable figures get a little too warm and topple over. Never had it happen to a Jedi before, but any top-heavy characters (or droids with thin legs) end up leaning against the side of my displays. Failing that, I put them in extremely dramatic / dynamic poses which lower their centre of gravity.

Unfortunately a Tython BOBF Luke fell, saber broke. Then Jedi Master Sol recently, oddly the saber blade has definitely not fully broken from the peg, but it didn't look good. Nothing super glue can't fix, but still sucks. I need to either get the pegless stands with the foot slots, or the kind with clamps.

 

I really wish Hasbro would invest like $.03 to each figure and include a stand. Otherwise they need to make 100% certain that the figures stand w/o assistance.

 

It's not like they haven't before either! The Jabba's Throne Room Luke(Wal-Mart exclusive)and Stormtrooper disguise Luke(Target exclusive) both had a triangular stand, stamped with "Star Wars" and a slide-in foot slot. They were perfect.

 

I completely agree with you, and share in your wish. I occasionally grab figures from other things I like, and the DC McFarlane ones (a line roughly equivalent to the Black Series in terms of size, price point, etc.) always come with a stand.

Wow, did they? Never knew that. Wonder why it was those two only?

 

I also have a deluxe Stormtrooper that I got at the Disney Store, when that existed, that has a stand and a blaster effect and explosion effects.

They have the ability to make these figures so much cooler, more fun, with accessories and they just don't.

 

Picked up Dagan Gera and Grogu/IG-12 at Target today.

IG-12 is ok clearance for $10.19.

I guess I just caved on Dagan Gera because he was there, Target is having a sale and I don't really want the assassin droid that ghost arm Gera comes with. I just want the kriffing ghost arm!

 

I bought that TCW Padawan Ahsoka yesterday at a collector shop. Cost me $45. Not super happy about the price, but I couldn't get her when she was retail and it's a great figure.
