Actually I have no idea who or what to believe.

 

I've also been around over a decade.

This smells like Supershadow to me.

 

It's official... fake or not, he's won an internet.

Let me get this straight. He has access to the full script. He has access to a scanner. He has internet access and no qualms spoiling the film.

His first and only method of revealing information is to post to the cesspool that is 4chan. His method of authentication is to post 2 partial, sketchy looking scans that look as far from authentic as possible. He doesn't scan the first 20 pages. He doesn't take photos of the document. He didn't take photos of anything else he seemingly has free access to.

He talks vaguely in places where he should know facts (names & parts of the script), and talks factual in places where it should be vague (JJ, lucas, company related and other non-script stuff).

Why does this has any sort of traction at all

 

That alleged script leak is interesting. But "artoo"???? I thought he was R2! Or is there another robot/persons/alien called "artoo." I know people can get a bit lazy but doesn't take long to type the letters: R2.

Perhaps C-3PO is now called "seethrepio."

 

I'll throw out a few possibilities....

(1) Captain Typho?
(2) Cliegg Lars (if he's mostly a cyborg, he could have prosthetic legs)
(3) the bar owner of Mos Eisley's cantina

Also, any ideas how Lando is written in the script?

Whether that script excerpt is real or not, the dialogue is garbage, so I'm favoring the latter.

 

It ain't Star Wars without wooden stilted dialogue.

 

I've seen a couple of British tabloids have been referenced. If he is legit, he should be running from Disney's lawyer battalions not hanging out posting with the trolls at the bottom barrel of the Internet.

My gut says fake. But I'll play along for ***** and giggles.
