Hey besties I recently found one of probably the only remnants left of the first place I called home on the Internet forums wise and it wasn’t even a forum basically back in the day the clone wars episode guides had a comment section except it was rarely about the clone wars and was mostly just a generally say whatever you think about Star Wars as a whole. People treated it as a message board anyway I would have been 13 here my typing was completely **** but man what a different time and it really shows that a community will form as long as there is a place to comment I am apart of a leftover forum of these people that were formed after the comment section was shut down sometime in either late 2012 or early 2013. Took me about a year of going to different parts of the internet before I settled here.
Hi Besties. Proud mom moment. My 6th grader starts middle school next year. He started Kindergarten with an Autism diagnosis and the ability to speak 3 words. He has Autism, I've noticed as his speech has developed that he sometimes talks like Yoda and wondered if Frank Oz or George Lucas knew a person sort of like him. But that's not the point. The point is we got his Middle School class suggestions and he's been placed in HONORS Science next year! Woo Hoo!
Besties, my mom had a double mastectemy last month for multifocal cancer. Well she had her two week follow up with her cancer surgeon today and... Her margins were clear! No radiation or chemo needed. Just a hormone pill for the next 5 years. But otherwise she is already considered cancer free! Lots of recovery and plastic surgery to go, but she's in good spirits and so am I. Definitely the best outcome to a bad situation. Get those mammograms! Hers saved her life.
Yeah she called from Mayo with the good news. The team there has been predictably amazing. Meanwhile my own new job has been going well. Kinda got thrown into the deep end this week when I had to cover for the other Copywriter who was out sick but I also got a lot of appreciation for covering.
I'm feeling under appreciated at the moment. I've been working hard for the past two weeks, (by myself, as my co-worker is on leave), keeping my area up to date and we aren't even remotely behind but all is get is don't let the area get behind.
Evening, besties. I'm back from a great day at Mega Con in Orlando. In addition to participating in a Whose Line Is It Anyway skit, I was able to get photos with Freema Agyeman (Martha Jones), Jenna Coleman (Clara Oswald) and Mandip Gill (Yasmin Khan) from Doctor Who.

I'm sad today because my dog has been at the groomers all day and still won't be home for another hour. They were unusually busy. Normally she's home by noon. I miss my baby.
Hey, besties. Today's my dad's birthday, and I treated him to a showing of Captain America: Brave New World.
Yeah, but he's also a diehard fan of CBS Sunday Morning, so that automatically qualifies him as an Honarary Old (By that measure, I myself have been elderly since the debut of the show in 1979)
I've been a die-hard I Love Lucy fan since childhood, and my favorite character is Fred Mertz... so I'm old-ish?!
Can I just say how nice it is that the sun is rising early enough again that it's light when I go to work, and just dusk when I get home not totally dark.
i got one of these light alarm clocks as a gift this autumn, and since I started using it I find it so much easier to get up in the morning during the dark months of the year.
