Just out of interest, what is everyone doing for Halloween this year? I know its still a little early, but I was just wondering if anyone had started on their Rancor cosutmes yet?

sorry for the lack of activity, have recently got galaxies!!! its taking up more time than i thought it would!!

 

Have you got the new space combat extension pack that has recently come out too? I hear that is supposed to be pretty good. I have also heard that they are making it a lot easier to become a Jedi now. Apparantly it was so hard, there were so few Jedi everyone was getting p****d off.

I'm looking forward to playing Matrix Online when it comes out (God knows when??). That should be cool.

Not that I have my own Neo costume and sunglasses or anything...

 

Jump to lightspeed is not out yet, septemeber i think. me and a mate play it on regular basis say we are going to get a couple of x-wings and share a YT-1300!!!!

i dont know what people are complaining about with regards to the jedi class, i play on one of the european servers and have seen several jedi and dark jedis. If everybody who played was a jedi what would be the point you may as play jedi knight on line. from what i have seen you have to put a lot of effort into getting a jedi, which is the way it should be.

I cant wait to see the matrix online, it looks amazing, need to dig out my leather trenchcoat and sunglasses!!!

 

My only hope with the Matrix Online is that it has some kind of story arch and is not just wondering around Mega City. That kind of thing works ok with SW cause theres so much to see and do, but with Matrix, theres only one thing to do, kick the machines arses. You can only get a real sense of doing that if there is some kind of mission to follow.

it is going to be intresting to see what the gameplay is going to be, i just hope its not some sort of glorified beat em up, where you go from one fight to the next.

and if youve got trinity in a box at the end of your bed, who the hell have i got in my box at the end of my bed???

 

Thats my worries exactly. I would hate it if it was just one fight after another fight, all to get better guns, powers etc. Where's the point in that? I need to feel that i'm doing something to bring down the Matrix in the long term.

I know its difficult, cause you can't really have the game finishing or anything, but if they were to have some kind of personal development for the player, where if he reached a certain level he would meet the Architect and become a one or something. Then maybe we could have that player become something more powerful within the game (kind of like a CR ), like the Merovigian.

Just an idea, but one that I hope turns out to be along the right line.

Has there been much released about the game play elements ?? any chance of jacking out of the matrix and exploring the real world?? the defence of zion would be a cool set piece to particpate in

Somebody mentioned something about a 10 disc matrix box set coming out soon, do you have any information about that?

I've read a bit about the Matrix online and its going to be set only within the Matrix. I suppose having it also set in the real world / Zion would make it a different game (though a possible expansion pack, ala Galaxy space combat could be a possiblity) altogher.

As far as I can tell, it will be fairly similar to Enter the Matrix in terms of combat, however it will be beefed up and probably made more playable with lots of new bits. As for defending Zion, I suppose your actions within the Matrix is all about defending Zion. You may not get to see the city, but at the end of the day its the one thing we can't afford to lose to the machines.

The game picks up after Revolutions finished. I'm not sure of the plot yet, but it seems that the truce between the machines and man didn't really take. Bring them on!!

As for Niobi! You can keep her. I can't stand Jada Pinket Smith, the bloody woman just gets on my nerves! What made it worse was having her and the lovely, beautiful, caring and sexy Carrie-Anne Moss in the same movie. Just made her annoying characteristics all the more evident.

P.S. Yes, 10 disk box set coming out for Christmas. It has just about everything ever released to to with the Matrix in it, including a new cut of Reloaded (BRILLIANT!) with all the scenes from Enter the Matrix put in the movie. It also has 3 hour documentries on each of the movies, Animatrix, special effect features and loads loads more.

If Santa don't put one of those bad boys in my stocking i'm going to bullet time his flabby ass all the way back to the North Pole.

Update in Galaxies, have completed the rebel alliance missions and got to meet all the main rebel characters, very cool!!!!

Cant wait for the expansion pack, so i can get my YT-1300!!!!


Is anybody else going to get Star Wars:Battlefront, as this looks excellent as well, cant wait to start sniping stormtroopers on endor!!! If anybody else gets it prehaps we can start a small clan!!!

I'm not really that big into online gaming, the only game I have really played online is Grand Prix Legends.

I have an addictive personality and I know that once I start down that path, forever dominate my destiny it will. So the only online game I am going to play is the Matrix.

If I play more then I will become a cross between the Lawnmower man and Neo.
