Yes a sci-fi class. Luckily my scool has a teacher who's obsessed with it and managed to get a class going a while ago

It's probably the sorriest excuse for a class I've ever been in, ALL we do is watch movies and have quizzes on them

And the more movies we watch the more things my teacher points out what GL stole from other movies for SW

He took the entire idea for Tatooine from Dune, as well as Jabba. Darth Vader's robotic hand and 3po from Metropolis, the list goes on

Dune... the first one was good, we read Dune Messiah in the class and I think it was rather terrible

 

Yeah they removed it for the SE. Really lame.

They made some attempts to cover Oola up in the SE, but the obvious slip is still there.

 

Read the third Dune Children of Dune its better than the second one (in my opinion atleast)
