I can't believe no-one's mentioned the famous scene in the The Last Command adaption where Mara was only wearing a speech-bubble or two and some passing droids... all courtesy of the late, great Edvin Biukovic, his sense of humour, and his ability to draw the GFFA like nobody's business...

Oh boy,my kind of topic! I got one: In Remnant,Jagged Fel comes to wake up Jaina in her bunk,and it mentions her sleeping in her underclothes,becuase Jag turns away as she puts on her flightsuit. There's also the scenes with Pellaeon in a bacta tank....brrrr.

 

And Vader in his oxygen tent in SotE.

okay a couple of questions (though i'm not really expecting anyone to answer them since you guys already ignored my previous questions)

1. was jaina really in her birthday suit while she was in the bacta tank in balance point or was that just the japanese artist's imagination?

2. was anakin wearing that live loincloth throughout conquest or did he change clothes along the way?

 

To answer number 1, I don't think people get Bacta treatment with their clothes on. It seems weird to be in a "healing" fluid wearing all your normal clothes. So I would assume Jaina was naked, but we tend to gloss over the fact that the people getting bacta treatment are naked because they are in a hospital like environment.

I'm not sure about your other question.

 

Well, about the bacta tank thing, we have evidence for three modes of dress:

1. Nude. We see this in The Bacta War with Lt. Corran Horn.

2. Partially nude. We see this in The Empire Strikes Back with Cmdr. Luke Skywalker, as well as in Balance Point with Lt. Jaina Solo (seriously, a towel? Why would anyone wear a towel in a bacta tank? It's like wearing a towel in the shower.)

3. Fully clothed (believe it or not). This is implied in Dark Tide I: Onslaught with (once again) Jedi Corran Horn.

So maybe it depends on the injury or the patient.


In Edge of Victory: Conquest, Padawan Anakin Solo was described as changing into the Vong loincloth. Since it never said that he changed, we can assume that he wore it through the rest of the story. Surprising that Tahiri wasn't, ah, *impressed*.

In fact, it seems like no one is ever impressed. People watch each other wearing little to nothing; in fact, it's even said that in The Bacta War Iella watched Corran "bob in bacta" - nude. Han/Luke didn't bat an eye when they saw Slave Leia, and neither did Anakin Skywalker when he saw Arena Padme. I think in the SW galaxy people are a lot more liberal, a lot less modest, and not so uneasy with showing and seeing skin, as far as their friends are concerned.
