kit fisto has actually supplanted obi as my favorite jedi, don't ask why, but i really like the dread locked green dude. he and mace seemed to be the only ones that had no problems with the battle at hand. he was just smiling and cracking skulls with his light blade of fury.

 

you know the more research i see on this topic the more it occurs to me that the only padwan that actually lived was anakin. soon to be the greatest of the jedi, me thinks so!

 

I'll do my best to tell who's left in the circle from the pic I've got from the clone wars trailer...Maybe this'll help if you know everyone's lightsaber color.

Lightsaber colors left:
8 purple, and 7 green.

I'm wondering if I can trust this picture though, because, this may have been before they added Ki adi(and company to the circle), and since I can't see a blue one(obiwan's), I'm wondering if it was altered.

There are 16 survivors in the circle(including Padme).

I can definatly see anikan, padme, mace, kit fisto, and the lady with the big pronged head(first person to the right of the jedi council pic above), and we know ki-adi makes it onto a ship, and plo koon is there.

BTW, Eeth Koth is there. I didn't notice him untill my second go around, but I know why I didn't notice him. The pick I'd seen had him with is hood up, and all you could see were his horns...but with it down...man that guy's got a lota hair. Jet black too. watch for him next time.

I know she doesn't make it to the final circle, but one of the jedi with two sabers I thought might have been Barris. She has her hood down so she is harder to spot though. Look for a very dark robed Jedi with two sabers and see what you think.


Also, I noticed that Bultar Swan leads the squad of commandos Behind Mace's (parrallel to his and in the background).

i don't think we can really assume anything from EU stuff......it may be true, but what we really need to holonet to let us know the official list, which i'm sure will come along soon enough (i hope)

but i would say that a lot of the named jedi (ki-adi for sure) would've made it out alive

what's the point of killing off these characters, when you have to make new characters for background in Ep III

GL would probably keep them and let fans of these characters (such as myself with Ki-Adi and Kit) keep on loving em

I posted the missing chairs almost 2 weeks ago about maybe except yoda and mace maybe the JC got wiped out but people shot me down and told me I was wrong. Well know its nice to see so many people wonder the same thing.

I think everyone in the JC got killed except mace and yoda. The circle of jedi in the arena means nothing to who survived because they were picked up at landed and they all got off and went into battle again. Plus there was more fighting going on outside of the arena then inside. They only faced battle droids inside the arena and alot got wiped out. mean while outside they had to deal with droids and machines and cross fire from the clones.

 

What if they weren't in the JC room after the battle??? What if it was a different room with a similar chair for Yoda.

Besides, unless the only Jedi left in existence were Yoda, Mace, Obi-Wan, and Anakin, they would eventually replace the Jedi Council....

Heck, I nominate Kit Fisto to take Coleman Trebor's spot....

 

First and foremost 40-80 jedi attended the arena battle not 200 becausein the book when it is down to 20 or so I recall reading that half the jedi had already died. Also the jedi that survived the final circle did not all board the same gunship I do not believe. Since when Mace said "Land in that assembly area" is shows his perspective from the opened side door and shows jedi already on the ground leading clones into battle.

 

Also, if this battle was the visual representation of the "Jedi Purge", then it's a big cop-out by Lucas...

We need at least one battle in E3 to show more Jedi being wasted during the clone wars...

Anakin needs to either by entrapment or by some other method take out a large number of them without duels...

Then we need a duel for Mace Windu/Anakin or Dooku, Anakin/Dooku, and Obi-Wan/Anakin....

 

notice how in all reality there weren't a whole lot of jedi killed? Basically there were about 50-75 jedi in the arena and about 20 escaped so not a total massacre...

 

The room at the end was YOda's apartment apparently

I think the book says the Jedi had lost half already at 100. Then about a sentence of battle later it says they were down to 20. So there were 200 Jedi at Geonosis.

About Barriss - I was reading in the essential guide to characters and it says something interesting. It lists 4 Jedi - Kit Fisto, Shaak Ti, Luminara Unduli, and Barriss Offee - that distingusihed themselves with heroism "though scores fell" from battle droids. Since the other three survived, it is likely Barriss may have too.

 

And in response to some earlier posts there are two Nikto jedi.


Still the jedi loaded in different trasports.

And in the one that blew up both times I saw the movie I could have sworn I saw the red of Shaak Ti's skin in the doorway.

 

Was it all the Jedi in existence who were seen fighting in AOTC? I was under the impression that there were 1000s of Jedi, spread across the galaxy.

Hmmm Perhaps Bariss was in the area with Plo Koon, Ki, and Ayla Secura but managed to avoid capture? I swear she has two sabers it for a second though. Maybe I was just seeing things.

Can anybody tell exactly how many Jedi get taken out by that first geonosian artillary blast? I only counted three.

 

Aayla was a Padawan of Ki-Adi Mundi during the battle, as supposedly her master Quin-Lon Vos had been killed...

At least that would explain why she was close to Ki-Adi at the saber ignition scene...

 

If Jedi are so badass, why were tons of them dead?
