Hello Dark Empire (DE) fans!

Many people love the story- all the people know about it- the Emperor's clones, Boba's reappearance, Luke's turn to the Dark Side, his heroic redemption and his struggle to revive the Jedi which only summons the inevitable- the last stand of Palpatine and his Empire in the final confrontation!

Every DE fan is welcome here!
This is a fan club of anything Dark Empire. Frome DE1 to Empire's End, this is the place to discuss!

If someone is just a DE1 fan and dislikes the sequels, he is still always welcome, of course!
The club is going to be known as Operation Shadow Fist- I just felt like I had to add a DE like subtitle!

What did yoy think of Empire's End? Have you read it? Would you like to?

 

I read Dark Empire & Dark Empire II, but never read Empire's End.

Bringing Palpatine back through a series of clones was a good idea in my book; I think Kevin J. Anderson did a remarkable job showing how evil & how much of a villain Palpatine really was through this storyline.

The only thing that I dislike a little was Luke falling to the dark side; it doesn't really bother me, but a part of me feels that Luke overcame the temptations of the dark side in ROTJ & that that shouldn't have changed. But like I said it only bothers me a little, and Luke's becoming Palpatine's new servant probably allowed for more character development.
