Fanclub Official Darth Sidious/Emperor Palpatine Fan Club!!!

Huh, it has been a year since the last contribution had been posted.

It's time to execute an awakening of this thread and fanclub.

Just yesterday I saw a video in which was explained who in the galaxy knows about Palpatine was a Sithlord. There was a guy mentioned called Eneb Ray, who worked as an assassin for the Rebel Alliance in order to kill Palpatine. The only thing that guy archieved was getting a heavy dose of force lightning, sent by the Emperor to disfigure the assassin's face forever.

My favorite moment is when Darth Vader kills him.

I honestly can't say that I actually like the Sheevster, but I do enjoy watching/reading about him. Because irredeemably evil he may be, but boring he is not.

 

Favorite line: "Only through me can you achieve a power greater than any Jedi." The way he says it is so powerful.
Favorite moment: Killing Windu, and his conversation with Anakin immediately after.

"Once more, the Sith will rule the galaxy..."
Sith is his identity, while the galaxy is just a possession.

Why Sidious killed Plagueis (humor)

Plagueis: Siddy, where did you get those plushies from?
Siddy: I designed and made them myself! They’re my apprentices
Plagueis: I see…
Siddy: Master, is there a way to make them come to life?
Plagueis : Um...no.
Siddy: Not even the Dark Side can do that?
Plagueis: I’m afraid no power can make plushies come to life.
Siddy: Oh…
Plagueis: By the way, where's the teddy bear I bought for you?
Siddy: Oh the Ewok? I cut it apart and used the stuffing to make my apprentices!
Plagueis: ......
(Moments later)
Siddy: Master, can I get a real apprentice?
Plagueis : When you’re older, yes.
Siddy: How old? Is tomorrow old enough?
Plagueis : No.
Siddy: The day after tomorrow?
Plagueis : No.
Siddy: The day after the day after tomorrow?
Plagueis : No! You’re still a Youngling yourself alright!!
Siddy: Next year then?
Plagueis : (Silence)
Siddy: One and a half years later?
Plagueis : (Silence)
Siddy: 1.7 years later?
Plagueis : NO!! AND YOU’RE NOT GETTING ONE UNTIL I DIE!!!
Siddy: Oh okay...

 

With his evil laugh in the first teaser trailer, a few words in the D23 Special Look trailer and his image in the new teaser poster, I hope we see him in the film, I don't care how he appears, I want to see him one last time!

Interesting title. It's a dark parallel to Anakin's comment to Qui-Gon about wanting to be the first to see all the stars.

The Emperor, my second favorite character in this saga (only behind Darth Vader).

 

Same here! Anakin is my favorite, and second is Sidious. Though Sidious is the most relatable to me.

Interestingly, I like all the characters that Sidious likes (the ones he likes are the ones he used, or intended to use, in an important position long term): Anakin, Luke, Tarkin, and Maul. I don't like Dooku, who was just a placeholder to Sidious.

I like this image as it makes it feel like the Death Star and the Emperor are basically black holes of the galaxy.

 

I actually like his death in the ST as it is with the help of the force and gforce ghost giving her their strenght, while in ROTJ it's just Vader throwing him down the shaft. Also Rey dies in the process.

 

Death was so much overrated in previous days.

 

I'm a fan... Sort of. I think he is the ultimate evil and Ian is one of the best actors in the entire movie saga. His portrayal of him in jedi is one of the best and while he was a tad campy in the prequel trilogy especially fighting windu he was still evil personified. He is also cool in the ROS but its down to ians portrayal of him.

I didn't write in this topic? Very strange. Take me to the fan-club for sure! I love only Vader, above all the characters in the Saga, everyone knows that, but Palpatine... Oh, a gorgeous villain, a real evil villain. It is impossible to deny him intelligence, cunning, meanness, the ability to manipulate and much more. A terrible man, for whom everyone is nothing more than pawns, tools that can always be thrown away and replaced. As often say about him, "a character I love to hate." Excellent description, because it is impossible to remain indifferent to Palpatine. Bent the entire galaxy and used everyone for twenty years. And his appearance is sinister, which gives an additional plus. Uhhh!

 

Taking into consideration his three term chancellorship after killing Plagueis it is even fifty six years of uninterrupted rule.

 

Well noticed! Palpatine is a tough guy!
