I finally watched TROS!
His power seems a LOT greater than before, which doesn't make much logical sense, but still, *FANGIRL SCREAM*

And is he actually dead dead according to the sequel? 'Cause, like, the first time he "died," not only was he thrown down a reactor shaft, but the whole Death Star exploded and he still kinda lived. This time he was on his home planet and the Rebels didn't even blast it (I was wondering if the Rebels would grab a Star Destroyer to destroy the Sith home base at the end of the battle to prevent the Sith from coming back, but it looks like they didn't even consider that).

Btw I originally didn't have high expectations for TROS (I have a hard time even remembering what happened in TFA and TLJ), but it was actually quite satisfying. Love Siddy!

First of all, they're not seeing his charisma.
Secondly, do they not understand what it means to be an emperor? Emperors don't ask people to do things, they give orders. If you refuse an order, you can expect to get executed for treason...

That reminds me a lot of those GA kids some years ago in another forum who hear for the first time, that there is a Star Wars beyond the film trilogies and TCW... and then they learn about a Palpatine having concubines like Roganda Ismaren, Sly Moore and her son Triklops ... and then they shudder and ask: What? Palpatine did it? Even with someone? So now this becomes mainstream too.

I'm not very familiar with the EU. Was Sly Moore officially an Imperial concubine, or was it more like an illegitimate love affair? Her demeanor in ROTS really stood out to me, I wish we got to see more of her.
