You know, I actually wouldn't have minded Leonardo DiCaprio.

 

I thought he actually did end up being pretty close in the end. I think he would have done a good job.

 

DiCaprio would've been a good Anakin, in fact.

 

FWIW - it's not just my dislike the idea of MJ being potentially in the film (although it's pretty well established that I'd rather her not) but moreso the idea that people are 'thinking' about a 27 y/o for the role, further perpetuating the idea that she is the eternal young hottie while everyone else in the Galaxy is subject to the realities of time and age. There is an abundance of 50+ year old actresses who are equally, if not more beautiful, and better suited to the role. Seriously, if they go that route, I very well may sit this one out.

 

while Iove Florence's singing, not sure about her being an actor.

Though band rumors I was really hoping for was One Direction, cuz I don't listen to them at all.

 

I don't take much stock in news this early but I'm eager for casting news so I do like hearing the (sometimes crazy) rumors that can pop up.

 

Not to mention it has several sexist implications.

In a spinoff? Sure...

...in VII, how about as a Republic officer? The Empire should be dead & buried by the time VII takes place, unless they go with something similar to the EU's take on it, the Remnant as a separate government.

It's hard to imagine the galactic empire being completely gone. Seems like there a lot of powerful people across the galaxy that benefited from Palpatine's corrupt reign and would be mad that he's gone.

I would love to see them form their own empire, something like the sith one of the Old Republic days.

 

May have been metioned already but apparently Harry Potter..err Daniel Radcliffe wants to be in E7.

So in other news. EVERY ACTOR IN the WORLD wants to be in this movie.

 

Florence Welsh is a singer and songwriter. Her recording name is Florence + the Machine. I think she's more well-known in Britain? Anyways, she's not an actor at all.

This is why I usually don't believe anything until it's officially confirmed. Yeah, rumors from legitimate sources can be acurrcate but a lot of times it's just all of the websites posting these rumours so they can get a few quick hits. We need to just remain calm and patient. Eventually we'll start getting official info.

 

Yeah, I had actually heard it was The Sun... I guess that was more of a rhetorical question because this rumor seems so ridiculous. And yeah, if the actual sun started providing information directly to us I think I would have to believe that... that would be awesome.
