Official NBA 2004-05 Season Thread

Meh, I don't have the same contempt for the Lakers as I do the for Yankees, so I won't mind when I see Shaq dancin' around with the trophy saying, "CAN YOU DIG IT?"

 

Well I was watching some late night Sports thing and you know they all said and agreed with that the Pacers were playing more like they were Western Confernce then the East and most teams in the West. So you guys believe whatever you want to believe. I'll believe in the Pacers considering this has been the most engerectic season and playoffs I've ever seen them in. Plus I think its boring watching the Lakers.

I like the Pacers. There a good bunch of guys, and from what I've seen, their fans are pretty respectable. I just don't think they can take the Lakers. I can't stand Malone and Payton, so I will be rooting for the Pacers.

 

Here's my predictions for the Conference finals:


Lakers over the Wolves in 6
Pistons over the Pacers in 7


The Lakers are the team to beat right now, and the Pistons have a mojo that the Pacers don't have, in my view.

 

Looks like everything is going according to plan right now. Look for Shaq to have a big second half since Olawakandi has 10 points already and I'm sure he won't take that as anything other than an insult.

 

Lakers win 97-88.

They have no answer for Shaq, with 26 points and 17 rebounds. And they played really good defense against Garnett double-teaming him everytime he touched the ball. Heck even Malone outscored him.

The Laker haters seem to be awfully quiet today and I can't say I blame them.

 

Meh. I've said all I have to say about the Lakers no need to keep re-saying how I feel about them.

Well, hate is such a strong word but.......I really do hate the Lakers. I do admit to liking a few of their players, and would only wish them to take the Championships because of Malone and Payton. Both deserve a ring before they retire.



Iam going for Minnesota in the West though.




The Pacers and The Pistons are two of my favorite teams in the entire NBA, and are my two favorite teams in the Eastern Conference. I'm kind of torn between the two of them. I will be happy for who wins and sad for the team that loses the Eastern finals.That being said, I also think it is about time Reggie Miller got his ring.

Pacers Win! I hope they sweep the Pistons. Only to sit back and relax while the Lakers get a workout taking the Timberwolves 7. As much as I would love to see the Timberwolves vs. Pacers. I was thinking about and it would be most fitting to see Lakers vs. Pacers because we got some unfinished business from a few years ago when Larry was the coach. And tonights game was far more excited then last nights game also. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
