Official Nute Gunray fan club

CBright, I am personally offended. I named myself after him. Does this name mean nothing to you? I was here before half these "Gunray fans" were. As for Barris Coffee...clearly she is a greater Barriss Offee fan than a Nute Gunray fan. Not only that but I've been posting on here since it's creation...so bow down, fiend.

 

To CBright: I agree. Let us have a vote of no confidence! Mutiny in the Nute Gunray Club!

To GG: Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude, you convinced me. I've been spoiler-free for 2 days now. But when I start having spasms and foam at the mouth, please restrain me. I want to go into the movie not knowing... eh... the minor minor minor details.

To Emperor Gunray: Don't get your hopes up for the ROTS visual dictionary. The thing's full of misprints. They switched Nute's name and character with somebody else. (I'm not saying who... don't want to ruin anyone's day with spoilers).

To Kidetc: There are 2 Nute Gunray figures out right now (TPM and AOTC... the AOTC one came with Passel Argente and Shu Mai). There will be 2 more for ROTS.

To SithLordPunk: You're just jealous. And that's all I've got to say about that.

 

Well I actually have the Visual Dictionary and can confirm he is credited properly with a good ammount of info on The Trade Federation pages "He has mottled skin as a result of extreme stress" you know

I know what you mean about the other misprint though...its ridiculous how they could get Nute mixed up with a character who looks nothing like him, theres even a small pic of Nute underneath that person! its ridiculous!

yeah I saw the PM nute gunray, and the Geonosis War Room Nute Gunray (its not that great). I wanna Nute GUnray poster.

PS: I was at walmart today, and saw the ROTS BOOK!!!!! I was so tempted to just start reading it.

I also am disapointed that there are non Barriss Offee rots figures.
But Rebelscum.com has the Neimoidian Figure and the other figures online now..

Wait wait wait...you say that you have the VD for ROTS and that the Nute in the book is the right one. How can that be? I dont own it but, I've seen the pics and its totally not him.

Can you provide a scan. I'd love to be wrong..and hope that they got it right.

Thank you everybody for your support... This has been much easier than I thought it was going to be. I think. I heard withdrawal symptoms start a week or so after going cold-turkey.

btw, Emperor Gunray, thank you so much for the info... I only saw the misnamed Gunray usurper and thought that was his only part in the Visual Dictionary. Not to go into spoilers and get banned, but since the usurper and the rest of the gang were on the bottom of the page, did that mean the real Gunray took up the whole top of the page?

Rune seems a little more grumpy then Nute. If you read LOE youd know... But Nute is just cooler.. and I dont know ages.. but seems younger... So I go With NUTE GUNRAY BABY!!!

 

I think Nute would definately win! Rune Haako has a limp!

Nute has his own page basically, Rune Haako is on it as well but I think theyve named him wrong because it looks nothing like him. I'll get a scan done Theres no spoiler material on there I dont think, just his backstory in the Clone War.

btw, that really doesn't look like Rune Haako in the visual dictionary pic. He doesn't have scholiosis there... I think he got plastic surgery.

 

Nute takes it....not even a fair match up. I love Rune but come one....I think a fair match up would be Lot vs. Nute. But, there again Nute takes it.

Emperor_Gunray Sweetness. Thanks so much. That page seemed to have escaped me while the VD scnas were pouring through. The Nute I have ggrown to love is finally set right. But, the guy next to him is labeled Rune? He just looks like a pilot. I dont remember Rune from the Sep. page...was that one right???

by the way... I've been in the Collecting Board's and read about the Attacktix.. Those things look pretty fun.. I love the Nute Gunray Figure... I HAVE TO GET HIM!!! I HAVE TO!!!

Darn I wish I'd be going to C3... If it was any other week in the year I would go, but I'm gonna be really busy that week.

Is it too late to sign up to go? That's probably a stupid question... I'm pretty sure it is.

And yes, I do have the novelization, and I've read the comic book, too. And neither one follows the real script, I can say that much. I'm going spoiler free now so I don't have to see the pictures of all the scenes I'm hearing about.

And thank you for the VD pics! The dude titled "Rune Haako" isn't Rune, tho... that's somebody else who I can't say (spoilers and all). The real Rune Haako is the usurper named "Nute Gunray"... the one in yellow.

I hope that last comment didn't ruin the movie for any non-spoiler fans... very sorry if it did. I'm sure you've all had your hearts set on waiting to be surprised by what Rune was wearing in ROTS.

No, the novelization isn't the real thing. I mean, parts of it are changed. Parts are left out. If you read it, you'll probably learn about 2 new spoilers you didn't know about before.
