Cool! I've had that Vader one since February, and I love it. I wanna start getting more of these. I got the Obi-Wan ROTS one a few weeks ago, and I'm definitely hooked on these now. They look awesome, and I can actually afford them, unlike the full scale sabers.

When I got home from work yesterday, there was a FedEx package waiting for me in the door-- My Collector's Society Kit.

Let me tell you, the Full Maul Saber is huge. I knew it would be bigger than the rest, but wow. Looks really great.

Wanting to start a collection of these and I found a dealer selling Anakin, Obi-Wan and Sidious Episode III sabers and the Darth Maul battle damaged for $100 shipped. Based on retail price that sounds like a good deal but I don't know how much they are actually going for on the secondary market. I thought it would be a great way to start my collection but I don't know what these are really going for. Can anyone advise if it's a good deal for those four mini sabers?

    Thanks!

At about $35 a pop for each one it is a good deal for all four of those for $100. Basically you are getting one free.

Cool, thanks! I ended up getting the set of 4. While I was shopping I found a Darth Vader EP V and and EP III Yoda scaled sabers for a great price and picked those up too. Talk about an instant collection:D

    Hey DarthClueless,

I was under the impression they never released a Darth Vader EPV scaled, but only an EPIV! You can recognise the V by a few wires at the front in the holes where in EPIV you only see a few holes that look like some sort of sockets. Also the rubber grips of the EPV run completely to the black ring in the middle where the EPIV has about 5mm space between them. Could you please inform us? I really would like to have the V too!
And you made a very good deal with the set of four, lucky bastard ;)

My bad, It was the Episode IV Vader that I bought. I don't have it in hand yet but I looked again at the pic and the stand says EP IV ANH.

I can't wait to get them. The Yoda arrives this friday and I'll get Yoda and Vader together.

My regular .45 scale Yoda arrived, and my Mom said it looks the same as the ComicCon replica (I'm at college right now so I won't see them for a couple more weeks). I'm not sure if she put them right next to each other and compared, though.

How noticable is the difference between the regular and the dark chrome lightsabers? It's hard to tell just how dark the dark chrome ones are by looking at pictures, because the lighting can make a huge difference.

Oh well, I'll find out in a couple weeks. My only concern is that the auction for the ComicCon replica had the ComicCon box replaced with a regular .45 scale replica, which doesn't make a ton of sense, since I paid around the same amount for both of them (the regular one was directly from MR), and I don't recall anyone getting the regular replicas before ComicCon.

    I'm not darthclueless for nothing;)

Anyone have any idea how valuable the European exclusive bright Chrome Yoda and Sidious .45's will be?

Are they worth picking up? I like the "True to the movie" replicas more than the special stuff but if they will put my kid through college or something I may try to get them.....

They won't put your kid through daycare.

Collect what you like. That's the golden rule. :)

Target.com seems to have the entire Master Replicas catalogue available for purchase. None of it seems to be currently in stock, though, so I have no clue if they'll actually be getting all of it. Just in case they do, though, I ordered the Episode 2 Obi-Wan .45 scale lightsaber since I missed buying it anywhere else for the retail price and now it goes kinda high on eBay.
