Unfortunate. It is quirky but I rather enjoy it.

 

well that was a fun coincedence. uh... I hope we get a trailer for the Mandalorian soon?

 

I see yet another hologram that can use the force

 

I quite liked it and seems to be more action packed then comedy. We see Sidon Ithano, battle droids, and more gangs. We see a temple and getting more Force lore. I hope we see Kix just for an episode, come on Filnoi. And Hlolograms have always used the force when it's been a i sith or dark side user, like Sidious.

 

Wow. That looks fabulous! Disappointed that it's ending after only two seasons but I'm sure this means we'll be getting an announcement for a third animated series soon.

 

Considering Filoni's limited involvement in Resistance, and now the fact that its gonna wrap up with only 2 seasons, I'm convinced this show was a filler series so he could go work on TCW S7.

 

Nah this will lead into leaked show that Filnoi and Faverou is supposed to be working on. I bet at d23 we get this news. We will be getting a show right after Resistance season 2 ends, that's no doubt.

The question is will that show premiere on Disney Channel or on Disney+?

 

Disney+ As this new will be another show like TCW, with the plot and more serious then both Resistance and Rebels. I can see it covers what Luke was up to along with Shoka/Sabine journey and setting up the threath that is the first order.

 

I love EVERYTHING that I saw here! I really didn't expect to see Sidon Ithano here but man am I grateful. I really hope this means we'll see Kix too. If we do, I hope they go all out with the fanservice and have him shoot down the battle droids we see in the trailer. Also we don't get just 1 Flix, we get 3 Flix's this time around! Nice! I hope we get to see their home planet and his gungan dad

I'm also glad to see that well be visiting other planets this time. I've been wanting this since I first saw the art style for the show. A lot of planets could look beautiful in this style. Shame that we're not getting a season 2, because I love this waaaay more than I ever did, Rebels. But I guess the show isn't getting that good of feedback overall.

 

Yeah, I think that's likely the case. We get two seasons of Resistance then TCW S7 next year. Meanwhile, he's probably started working on whatever series he has planned next which will likely come out sometime after TCW.

 

I'll have to watch the new trailer when I'm home from work, but I will say I feel bad that the series is ending after only two seasons. I mean, I had my gripes with it, but I will concur that it has great potential. Hopefully the characters and stories in the final season will be memorable.

 

Any word on the length of the new season?

 

Season 2 started production in the summer of 2017

 

yeah so it wasen't cancelled it went for the story it wanted to tell. We will see these characters again after Resistance is done in post ix show.

 

That's kind of vague; I mean TCW's episodes after Season 5 were probably completed a couple of years before the series' cancellation.

 

Timeline wise it makes sense tough. The finale could end just by TROS. it's a year and Resistance like Rebels use 1 year for a season.

 

So sorry if I missed this somewhere, but who was that voicing Kylo? Didn't sound like Adam Driver to me.

I wasn't the biggest fan of Season 1 (I didn't hate it or anything, but it didn't do much for me), but Season 2 looks like a step up. I like the idea of the pirates and the citizens of the Colossus being forced to work together and I'm intrigued by the appearances of Captain Ithano, Kylo Ren, and some sort of Force temple. If there is some connection to the World Between Worlds that would add fuel to the fire that RoS will utilize it. *rubs hands together*

I'm not really surprised it's only getting two seasons as it seemed like something to fill in the gap between Rebels and the next meatier show, probably the Ahsoka/Ezra/Sabine show and/or Luke's Jedi Academy. I kind of wish there weren't Star Wars filler shows, but I won't complain too much. It looks pretty cool.

 

I wound't say it's filler as it explains some of what the first order did and how it made starkiller base, them taking over planets.
