I think this will be the slow start of redemption for Barriss Offee but first she must survive Being an Inqusitor.

 

not every character needs to be redeemed

 

No but everyone deserves a chance. She is no Palpatine

 

I'll likely be disappointed, but I'm going to go out on a limb by saying that if anyone should kill Barriss Offee by the end of this (if that's her fate), then it should be Ahsoka. Just throwing in Thrawn, Grievious, even Vader into the mix because they're evil personified dun dun dun.....doesn't cut it for me. Bariss' story is firmly connected with Ahsoak's.

 

I agree completely. If anyone does it it should be Her. I am worried it may be Vader though

 

The irony is, once upon a time, I was fully expecting Ahsoka's death to be at the hands of Vader (and Vader ALONE). That would've been the only death of hers that I'd have accepted. Everything's still up in the air now of course. Maybe Kylo Ren will kill her; that would kind of be acceptable...sort of.

 

Barriss Offee story is tied to Ahsoka Tano and we get that in another story and show

 

Is it necessarily confirmed that Barriss does survive past this show's settings?

 

One thing that just dawned on me about Vader having a role here is that shouldn't he immediately recognize Barriss having betrayed the Jedi? It was a pretty big deal at the time that she'd framed Ahsoka, and how the Order turned against her only inflamed Anakin's animosity towards them.

 

I doubt this show is setting anything up they would not do that in a short.

 

Just me thinking they wont kill her off, its Filoni after all.

 

I'd love that. You could argue it was just for the sake of plot, but Bariss was an excellent combatant by the time she was imprisoned. She snuck up on Ventress, was above Ahsoka in skill and even dueled Anakin. Admittedly, she was out of his league.
I'd like to see her potential diminish under such dehumanization. And yes, a death at Ahsoka's hands would be interesting.

 

Not setting up, but i think they will have her survive until she can meet Ahsoka again.

Flash forward to the end of the last short, when Vader walks in to inspect that line-up of Inquisitors, recognises Barriss, and kills her on the spot.

The other Inquisitors all bow their heads, having learned their final lesson.

I get the idea, but you don't think that if she's slain by Ahsoka while wearing a mask, that Ahsoka wouldn't have the intuition to remove it to reveal the identity? IMO that lasting image of Ahsoka having seen her once close friend turned completely to the Dark Side before getting redeemed could itself be a revelation. In all likelihood, this meeting would take place before Ahsoka meets with Vader for the first time in TOTA. Maybe it's because she felt so much regret after what had become of Barriss that she hoped to save Anakin before the same fate came to him.

 

I actually think Barriss Offee would match Ahsoka. In Clone Wars they were equal and she best Both Ventress and Ahsoka. Dueled with Anakin. And i think she would try reach Barris
