Sweet movie. Remindes me of when I was a kid, when I always wanted to make my own Ghostbusters movie. Of course, it would have utilized those Kenner proton pack toys :p (this was all before I started getting into Star Wars).

Though, I think it would be cool, after all this time, to do a GB fan film of my own sometime...I'll be waiting on those prop tutorials!

I tried to get as much out as I could. Ultimately, Just about everything in the movie is the way it has to be. Most of this is due to the way I had to edit the film. It is comprised of different videos rendered in After Effects and Premiere, converted to AVI(I had to reconvert them for it to work), edited together in Ulead Media Studio Pro, exported to an external hard drive, sound edited on Vegas Video on someone else's computer, then brought back into Ulead Media Studio pro to add the sound effects and music.

Great film guys... I hope this starts a trend of GB fanfilms! I thought Freddy vs GB sounded corny, and it was but in a great funny/campy/ArmyofDarkness-kind-of-way. I've been telling my friend for months now that someone needs to make a GB fanfilm... Great job guys, hope to see more! (goes back to singing GB theme to himself)

Yes, I lost a little bit of quality, but never lost any footage, if that's what you mean. I learned a lesson (well more than one) during the making of this one: Always compress your AVI files as uncompressed until you're ready to render the final video!

    Hey Guys,
I watched it all the way through this morning, then showed my roommates and neighbors just a little while ago. They were all tremendously impressed. I thought this was really great. You perfectly captured the horror/comedy/adventure feel present in both movies. I thought the Jared scene was a little too surreal for the rest of the movie (although your Jared lookalike was spot on.) but it still made me laugh. Congrats. You made a sequel that was actually better than Ghostbusters 2. Can't wait to see more from you guys.

Lots of great things about this movie. Fantastic costumes. Lots of really good jokes, especially from Freddy himself. I liked the way your characters presented themselves, each of them had a unique, funny personality. On the downside, it took me about half of the movie before I started getting into it, i.e. the editing of the first half made it move too slowly for me. The acting and FX were on par with most fanfilms.

Overall ... moved a bit slow at times, but otherwise lots of funny lines and absolutely amazing props and costumes.

FvG was good overall. Some of the scenes flowed a bit awkward. A lot of little things seemed to bug me while watching it, but once it was over, they didn't really amount to much. The movie accomplished its goal and accomplished it well. Good job guys.

I really loved it it was well done & you guys captured the look & feel of the Ghost Busters very well I like that you guys worked it in so you were playing your own characters & not just trying to play the characters from the Ghostbusters films.

I'd been following the production of this film ever since TFN put out an article on it and was blown away by the final product. You guys took the way I watch fan-films to a whole new level. For those of you who don't like to watch the credits, stick it out to the end, the reward is most worthy.

    "Where the Hell am I?"

    "You."

At least an A, if not an A+.

I must admit, I didn't like minutes 2-6 or so. I thought it was kind of slow, but have realized that it is necessary to develop the characters a bit. We wanted to tell an entire story in 30 minutes (actually, I wanted to do it in less).

Anyway, be sure to check out the blooper reel and alternate endings. I'll have them up on my site in the next couple days.

Thanks again for the comments, everyone! I'm so glad people are enjoying this!

Alternate ending two is...unexpected I guess would be the best choice of words.

    The bloopers were hilarious.

"That was flaming, what you were doing was not quite out yet."

    Classic.

Hey, I just watched this movie, and I just thought I would say that it is awesome. You guys really nailed Freddy Krueger. The voice, the movement, the personality, all beautiful. And the "Its ok, I had subway for lunch" bit was friggin awesome.

Anyway, well done, one of the most professional looking fan films I've ever seen. That is all.

The extended conversation between Freddy and Jared in the blooper reel was HILARIOUS! Why didn't you leave it in the movie?

Those were awesome extra's Brax! The blooper reel was hilarious stuff! I cracked up a bunch when Freddy hit chuck in the back of the head with the tube! :D

My favorite part was in Alternate Ending 1 when Freddy stabbed Niel. "Awrgh.....feed my fish!"

    :D

Plus Freddy calling Ed a pussy seemed very Freddy like.

    Nice content once again!

I just realized that the example between "Flaming" and "I'm not quite out yet" at the end there is almost exactly like an example one of my friends gave during the filming of a video! :D

I had somebody constantly saying a corny line but he was making it sound gay, so we told him that and after he said it like a sterotypical homosexual...my one friend said pretty much the same thing above!
