I wonder how he ended up in command of the Coruscant Guard.

 

Maybe that would have been answered in the Battle of Coruscant arc?

 

Well if the source from Star Wars Underworld was correct the final arc wouldn't feature the Battle of Coruscant, it would rather be an arc leading into the battle and ROTS

 

I was always surprised we never caught up with Thire, Jek and/or Rhys after the first episode of the series. Definitely thought they'd pop up again sooner or later, especially with how well TCW made each clone different from each other.

 

Here is to hoping he pops up in a book.

I don't think so, but I'm glad that at least that one guy we knew made it beyond the Prequels.

So does anyone own this version of the complete season 1-5 box ? I'm thinking of buying it and i want some opinions, how does the box look like, is it a slipcase with the seasons ? , audio and picture quality etc etc.

 

all I know about it is that it comes with some art and stuff

I have it. American DVD encoding isn't supported where I live, so I had to order from the UK. This is just simply the five individual Season releases put together in a cardboard box, so quality of the audio and the visuals are the exact same as on those -I think it's great, but I'm no expert. No gift episode guide and no Art Book.

 

Just watched Clone Wars Declassified documentary on the Lost Missions Blu-ray. They show lots of shots of story meetings and in one they have a big white board with the treatment for... The Season 8 Mon Cala arc! It's listed with a code "719" I think because it starts with ep 19 of the 7th story conference. They split the story in three parts and you can see all of the first part, and pieces of others. It's a single shot at 7:24 in the video.

I'm going to attempt to share screenshots, not sure how legible they will be on here, but you can clearly read them on the Blu Ray:

The only one kinda similar I think was for Onderon arc, only bit that was cut was at the end "Obi asks Saw about training more Rebels." Interesting for the future.

There are lots of shots flipping through Dave's sketch book though... Almost all stuff we have seen, but there was one with Ahsoka surrounded by heavily armored troops which I could not identify. I will try to get a shot for you guys to verify.

 

Maybe it was for the S8 Mandalore arc ?

 

Not sure if that was it, they didn't look like Mandos. Could've been Clone special troops from an early arc I don't recall. I'll get a pic tomorrow...

 

Now this is highly speculation and it might be unlikely but here is my piece of speculation : The final arc was the Return to Mon Cala Arc
1. It's late in the season and while changes have happened before it's so late in the season that i don't think that's a possibility
2. StarWarsUnderworlds source did say that the final arc would've been 3 episodes

If you read the whiteboard it sounds like 719 is the first episode of the Mon cala arc. If that is the case we have 2 more episodes unaccounted for.

Alright, here's everything I was able to copy down from the whiteboard. There are a few things I wasn't able to make out, so if you can tell what they are/can make an educated guess about them, I'd appreciate it.

2. Throne room. Sit down w/ Lee Char and Mon Cala Senator Meena Tills. They say that they won't vote to ??? out ???. Padmé says, "But the Quarren will."

3. Dining room. Lee Char explains how the Grand Vizier has been murdered so it's been impossible to elect a leader so they're appointing Tikkes provisional leader... and relations w/ Tikkes have become ??. Anakin: "Maybe I should talk to Tikkes." Lee Char: "Sorry I can't help."

4. Anakin and Padmé on ship. They say that Nossor Ri was a ???? friend of their nemesis (nemesis may not be the right word). They ??????? Find out why he was murdered.

5. The land on Quarren city. Landing platform and are ??? by up tundra (not sure if this is right, but it looked pretty close to what was on the board). He says, "Our government is gridlocked and ??? (most likely "we need") to move forward. Anakin/Padmé will talk to Tikkes. Tundra says he'll see what he can do.

1. Anakin and Padmé meet w/ Tikkes in ???? (might be throne) room. Tikkes explains his ???? (might be frustration) w/ ????

 

Cevan - For #2 on ep 719, and this was the most interesting thing, it says "vote to throw out Palps(!)" For the #1 on the next ep it says "explains his frustration with Palps." In #5, the other Quarren Senator "Tundra" as in Tundra Dowmeia, is mentioned. You will see his name again in the final pic that is mostly covered by head writer Matt M's torso. We need Dan_Grievous_Tikkes_Fan to explain the Quarren politics of Tikkes, Tundra, etc.

DarthTalgus - I think you need to update your list to put the Rex/R2 arc in the final season, the writer Brent Friedman said it was his Season 8 arc (Echo arc was his only S7 arc). In the same interview, Brent said that the finale was a wholly separate arc that they spent a great deal of time and effort collaborating on, i would put a separate one from Mon Cala for that.
