Yeah and with there still being decades worth of stories to tell in that period. Everybody has their own story

The interesting thing about the Clone Wars is that, despite only lasting three years, it was a galaxy-wide conflict that was more complicated than the Galactic Civil War. It wasn't always strictly good vs. evil.

This is the best tribute to Season Seven that I've found. In many respects, Season Seven is an intraquel to Revenge of the Sith that is just as an effective in its drama as that story. It encapsulates the tragedy of Ahsoka being unable to prevent her former master's fall to the dark side and how Darth Maul was a danger in his own right underneath Darth Sidious' omnipresent menace. It enhances the tragedy of Revenge of the Sith in that shows that even Darth Maul could sense the weakness of Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka was prevented from being there to help him. Overall, the song illustrates how bleak and hopeless the end of the Clone Wars were. The Jedi Order was doomed to fall. The main consolation I got from the end of the season was that neither the Order 66-dominated clones nor Darth Maul could destroy Ahsoka Tano. But the whole thing feels like a Pyrrhic victory, as Ahsoka and Rex have to go into hiding and the Dark Times limit how much Force-wielders like Ahsoka will be able to help people.

It's been so much fun to get back into all the episodes as my son jumped back into them after a short hiatus. We've pretty much covered all the seasons. His favorite seasons are season 2 and 3 while I like season 3 as the best, 6, 7 very good, 4 and 2 the pretty good with 5 and 1 as the least. My favorite episodes are The Lost Ones, Victory and Death, Arc Troopers, Mortis, Citadel arc, Ryloth Arc, Fives and Tup Arc, and Kadavo Arc.

After spending hours watching these over and over due to winter break and my son watching it so it was like, oh good some TCW is on so I'll watch it, I noticed something very humorous...in Senate Spy season2, Anakin is walking with Padme in the Senate hallway and leans down to pad her on the bottom as she's walking!
It was the first Clovis episode and he was testing his wife.
I still don't care for Maul's return, but it did add more to the show. I'm glad we got to see the Mandalorians versus the Jedi as was read about in the 1990s.
I wish they completed the Utapau Arc but at least we can watch it still in rough form.
I think we should have had closer with Ventress but looks like they have other plans. As well as seen some more death scenes of Jedi at the hands of her, Tyranus and Grevious.

I am doing a rewatch of the show now just watched Clone wars movie. In episode 3 of season1 and its quite fun in early seasons. Plo Koon is a stand out in season 1. I love this Anakin more then PT version. He is not whiny here. Ahsoka is treasure.

I don’t think early Ahsoka is as bad as people make her out to be. But her standout episodes are definitely the seige of Ryloth arc and in season 2 it’s the Weapons factory episode. IMO her most important episodes other than the wrong Jedi.

I found this fascinating. It's probably my favorite from Pente Patrol Star Wars besides this one, which was very wholesome.

I finished two first seasons, and both are good, Season 2 is when it starts being great and not season 3. We get the Geonosis arc, Mandalore arc, Zillobeast and Boba Fett arc. I just began on season 3.

I've been wondering something. Was it ever explained by anyone why was Ahsoka's outfit in Disney's S7 changed from this:

    to this:
She's also supposed to wear the 2012 outfit in the novel, which was shown on the cover, but Tales of the Jedi also replaced that with the S7 Jumpsuit variant.

Interestingly it seems like, to me at least, that Rafa Martez took some design elements from Ahsoka's original Season 7 design:

The trousers are roughly the same design, and match in colour, while the shirt has the same colour scheme and stripe pattern (though the neck is different over another undershirt). Might just be imagining things, but it seems like some of Ahsoka's outfit was mined for Rafa for whatever reason. Possibly because she didn't exist in the original cut, though it's still a mystery as to what character filled her role or some modified version (her 'laundromat' existed in the original version, so presumably Nyx was still working for someone in the first episode of the arc at least).

Eh, I only see some very slight similarity in the stripe that goes in the middle of the shirt. But the rest is fairly different in both color and visually.

From what I've read, Nyx Okami was split into two. He had a Han Solo attitude and was more lighthearted like Trace, but also didn't like the Jedi, like Rafa.

I think the released arc is fine, and I think the hate it got online is overblown. But the changes are rather pointless. Nyx Okami was a more fun dynamic, and the original outfit was much cooler. The new one is just boring and kinda bland.

A tad slow maybe, but just finished the entire CW series for the first time: Just wondering about the time-frame of the final Ep III tie-in episodes in relation to Ep III itself. Also, how much later is it when Vader visits the planet where Ahsoka crashed and left a lightsaber?

There is a number of cues throughout the episodes to let you know the approximate timeline of Ep III, like when Obi-Wan informs Ahsoka of Dooku's death, when Mace, Yoda, Ki-Adi and Aayla are talking about a plot to destroy the Jedi, etc. The Siege of Mandalore happens concurrently with Ep III.
Well, you can clearly see that this was OT Empire with OT Stormtroopers and OT shuttles, so it's years later.

I gathered all that. I was just wondering about a specific time frame. Six days, six weeks?

According to Pablo Hidalgo, who is referencing George Lucas, Revenge of the Sith takes place over a few days.

If Lucas hadn't sold SW, I think we would have gotten a Special Edition of the earlier seasons of CW with better animation

But Lucas never cared about money. If he did he wouldn’t have sold the franchise for a measly 4 billion

He wouldn’t have made money off of it is what it has to do with money. But it still sounds like something he would do. I am agreeing with you

Does anyone know if Japanese dub was ever included in any version of The Lost Missions Blu-ray?
