Mace Windu this and Boba Fett that Plo Koon hit me with a wiffleball bat. The reason Ben is greater is because George Lucas said so. Where was Mace in 4,5,6?

Oh that's right, he went into hiding for the rest of his life.

Now we don't know how Windu dies in Ep3, but I'm willing to bet it's by confronting someone, and not running away like Obi-Wan did. Windu will die an honorable death, unlike Mr. Kenobi who chose to hide for the rest of his life.

this is funny guys but seriously Obiwan isn't a coward he hid so he could use Luke of course and Mace, i GUARENTEE will die a hero and before he dies will look like a god among extras!



I think Maces arse kicking in AOTC was just the tip of the iceberg, he's an instument of destruction and will only be killed when it looks like the Jedi are finished, that's why i don't think will Mace will die early in the film cause it all has to come crashing down .....

well you might be right but i have a feeling Yoda will be as badass and heroic as Mace will be in Episode 3

I've read your posts and I know what you said. But this sentence "Now my instincts tell me GL wanted Boba to kill Mace, but the SOB, SLJ, decided to go out of his way to whine about it. IMHO, he should die the way GL wrote the script" implies that its factual or was confirmed that GL had the written the script with the intention of having Boba kill Mace. I don't like when people post things as facts which are mere assumptions by the implier.

 

Excuse me. What I meant was, GL may have had the idea of Boba killing Mace and thought it was a good one, but when SLJ found out, he whined to the public. That is what I think was the case. Now I'm not saying SLJ saying he doesn't want to go out like some punk, I can understand, and I respect that. If I was in his position, I would say the same.

I cannot believe that GL has seriously thought about Boba killing Mace. We saw Boba in EpII because GL needed a bounty hunter (Jango) and he probably wanted to give us some history of Boba. No more.

EpIII will be focused on Anakin and I doubt we won't see Boba at all. I have not been very convinced yet that Mace is the second baddest dude but I truly, deeply hope that we will see it in EpIII

You should learn not to state things implying its fact. "IMHO, he should die the way GL wrote the script." See that? You're basically implying that its a fact that GL already had the script written in the way of Boba killing Mace. Thats why everyone is confused. What you should have said was "If GL had written the script already with the intention of having Boba kill Mace, thats what should be done." Instead you brought it off as if it were a fact.

 

i see mace actin' like Wolverine in X2. instead of Government Troops infilitrating a mansion, it'll be imperial stormtroopers infilitrating the Jedi Temple. mace will go on a rampage and come to a suited darth vader or unsuited anakin under the sith title and the two will fight intensly.

and he's not a traitor. he's a hero. and he does not symbolize ALL that's wrong with jedi. the jedi collectively symbolize that. yoda included.

Yeah they are big. But it sure does help get your robes off when they are on fire.

As for Mace in epIII. I for one hope that he is shown to be what I have always perceived him as. One bad @$$ Jedi, second only to Yoda, who would never let a little 13 year old punk get the best of him.

 

Sorry to say Mace just is not that important to the story. Anakin will kill Mace........ObiWan will defeat Vader......what are you missing in this simple story about redemtion.
