You know, this animated series really was a good introduction to the younglings in the High Republic era. I do hope that a second season is done for next year because these were pretty good. I ..........have to take it back what I said before. I was very wrong and I enjoyed these a lot. Like Senator Kelberry said above its all good stuff and I liked it. The funny thing is that I liked it better than season 2 of Visions. I don't know what happened but season 2 was not my cup of tea. Yet these episodes for the kiddie series was amazing. I do hope that they not only do a second season but that they continue to use aniamtion for the High Republic era and even the earlier eras.

I think that instead of doing this kind of standard animation for young kids, they should do a version of Visions, with unique animation styles, but for younger kids. That, I think, would be more interesting for fans, and even more memorable for children. This series is fun, but it does feel like any other children's animated show with a Star Wars skin on it.

I think that's the point. That way kids won't think of it as extremely different and they can get into it easily.

That's the kind of idea that prevented schools in the US from teaching foreign languages to young children - which we now know was a big mistake, as young kids are language sponges in a way teens and young adults aren't.

Children are a lot less conventional and a lot more open to different things than adults, so I don't think they need some kind of adult-defined standard to on-ramp into a children's show. Give them something imaginative, and they will embrace it.

This show is clearly aimed at really young kids. Its not meant to be different or daring. Its just an innocent show to keep young children entertained.

Honestly completely forgot Disney Junior was still a channel. I know Disney has slowly been shutting down its overseas cable channels. Ever since Disney plus launched.

to this very day I still don’t know why Disney XD was/is a channel either. Was it just the animated shows? Now I am curious.

I think XD was meant to try to pull more boys in, since their main audience used to mostly be girls. It’s the same reason why they bought both Marvel and Star Wars in the first place.

I've been making my way through, still fun stuff. We finally got an established planet and of course it's Tatooine, but Jawa antics are the best so I'll let it slide. And hey, Kyle MacLachlan as a baddie!

Oh boy everyone’s favorite notoriously remote and backwater planet Tatooine!

weird now. As with those two properties I bet most fans of “Disney properties” are boys. Guess their problem flipped. Although I doubt you’ll ever get complete equality in terms of popularity in any company between the sexes. Not saying Star Wars isn’t liked by girls. It is. Just statistics say its more guys then girls.

Just some random internet outrage. I haven’t looked into it, but I’m guessing it’s a lot of noise over something relatively minor.

Nice! And the Wookiees look better than the Rebels models, which is a low bar but still a win.

The problem with rebels and the Wookiee was there was basically no depth to their fur? Hair? Is there a difference?

it goes back to my whole thing on Rebels vs TCW animation rebels is just far to smooth.

Nubs celebrating Life Day on Kashyyyk is approaching peak SW for me. Hoping for at least five minutes worth of Pooba/Wookiee dialog.

If we don’t have a Wookiee watching VR is it really a trip to kashyyyk?
