I really like the design of the environment. I hope we see this planet again in other sources

That would be logical, but I don't think there is any solid timeline on its placement.

 

Yeah I imagine we won't get a specific placement. So until the show says otherwise I am just going to say it takes place around 300BBY. That would be enough time for the majority of the characters in phase 2 to get old and retire and/or die. And would be enough time for most of the characters we will see in this show to do the same before we get to the events of phase 1.

 

The vectors on the poster indicate that it will be rather around phase 1.

 

I thought it was adorable. And I honestly felt a little moved seeing Yoda in late middle age, interacting with old friends long gone. SW needs things like this just as much as it needs Andor.

Yoda is absent for most of phase 1 and at the end he shows up and the Jedi are recalled from outposts back to coruscant.


However I could see this show set close to phase 1 or at least 10+ years or less. Giving this show breathing room without dealing with the Great Disaster, Nihil etc…..

Also having these characters still be alive and adults during phase 3.

 

That seems like a good estimate.

Oh yeah. It has been a while since I have read Light of the Jedi, but I believe the Vectors are supposed to be new there.

Apparently some of the toys revealed for this show reveal the show's villain...

...and he could be Nihil...or he could just be some guy. Not like masks are a Nihil exclusive after all.

I’ll reserve judgment until some full episodes come out, but right now I’m a bit leery, because it looks like LFL trying too hard to imitate and conform with other trends in the kid-animation industry rather than lead the way themselves. This was a problem with Resistance too imo. It just doesn’t seem high quality to me at this point, and I’d argue it’s not necessary either, they should be trying to make stuff more in line with the goofier TCW material instead if they feel they need something for younger audiences.

 

Agreed, we could still have a toyline based on a animated High Republic series that is aimed at the age range TCW was.

For me this show just feels like a missed opportunity. Doesn’t make much sense for the 1st High Republic show to air, to keep its demographic at a super young age.

 

Well we already know that a High Republic show aimed at adults is coming. Rather it comes first or second doesn't really matter all that much.

 

We've got our first look at a possible villain in Young Jedi Adventures. His name is Taborr and for now he is describe as pirate who stole Kai Brightstar sword, I wonder does his mask could mean he is connect to Nihils or Independent character. But to be honest, those bulging eyes of Kai Brightstar in the Taborr set are a little scary me even as adult, I'm not sure if I buy his toy as child.

 

Do you think there is a chance for characters from books to appear in a small role, it would be nice to have some lego with them as well.

Man I agree with you on this and its my reason for not really jumping on this bandwagon.

 

Oh god, I forgot there'll be episode discussions on here won't there, and serious criques.

 

Good thing it is High Republic...because otherwise that last episode could get awkward.

 

So...has anyone heard anything about the screening today at celebration? I guess I expected it to be overshadowed a bit but I can't seem to find anything about the episode that was screened.

 

That's all I know for now:
*One episode is two stories about 10 minutes each. That is the standard when it comes to animations for children.
*Nash has two moms.


Eh, I'm a little disappointed with the lack of information, they didn't even give a trailer, although the series premieres in a month

 

I just want to know how old Nash is. I'm a little troubled by the idea of a child bush pilot.
