New is obviously relative. That trailer was released waaay back in the Summer ago.

If you have bittorrent, a fansubbing company subbed a trailer for Advent Children and released it just yesterday. It is a really good trailer, the last half is an english narrated trailer.

Theres a new trailer up at the official site, here its all in japanish so i have no idea whats being said, but its really long. It shows a big summon coming down in the middle of a crowded place, and cloud, red XIII, Vincent and Barret takin it down.... looks pretty cool.
i just cant wait for this to come out.

 

That summon looks suspiciously like Bahamut.

It will come to America. Square Enix cant miss out of all the American dollars it would get for a port.

 

It'd be pretty difficult to get it to be released in theaters, considering the very short length and the... minimal success of past Final Fantasy films.

The site has the original music to boot. I am looking forward to this. If only they'd update the game look now for a new FF VII

 

I would love an update of FF7. But only if they promise to make a a good English traanslation this time, cause we got a horrible one. And also, since it is known they rushed FF7, I would like them address those issues that got washed over during the rush... such as plot holes galore.

Although personally, I'd rather have an update of FF8 (my fave of the PSX FF's)

It's a movie.

But PS2 will also be getting a Final Fantasy 7 game spin off... but with Vincent as the star and it's an action game. Looks good so far.

 

adventchildren.net say taht 1up.com says that the movie will be released march 14th. they also say its gonna be a 90 minute movie, so a full feature length movie. Might come to theaters? If so, that would kick so much ass.

It was planned to go straight to DVD in Japan and then the States, but recently there have been rumorus of a possible theater release...I think Square-Enix are evry edgy about it though, what with the flop that was Spirits Within.

Advent Children For PSP.

The talk has been that it will be released on the PSP first in UMD format and later released on DVD. The purpose is to showcase the movie capabilities of the PSP and encourage those fanboys who can't wait for the DVD to buy a PSP.

Just saw the 4 minute trailer and I've got to say that the story looks as fruity as ever. I am so tired of the Japanese and their Earth mother/gaia theme. It's so overdone, it was that fruity theme that really killed The Spirits Within.
