Millennia: Altered Destinies, a pc game from 1995. I've never really seen another game like it. It was a space & time travel simulator god game. You played as a guy called McDonald who flew around a galaxy with his ship AI Angus, altering timelines of four species by solving their crises over a ten thousand year period so that they could advance their technology enough to survive the enemy 'croid invasion of the galaxy and build advanced parts for the ship that McDonald needed to get back to his home galaxy. It was a lot of fun, and you could even gift a species an invention that they themselves invented a few hundred years in their future, just to speed up their technical advance. The game had a very unusual UI and I think it would work really well today as a VR game.
Here’s a list of games I would like to see Remade. Turok 1 and 2 with modern day graphics like you see on Xbox one,Xbox series x, PlayStation 4 and 5 Star Wars rogue squadrons 1, 2 and 3 Medal of Honor games remastered, plus add new content and stories to connect the together in one giant game. Wolfenstein 2008 game remastered. That’s about all for now.
Well, I got the remastered Skyrim, remastered Bioshock, and I think a couple others for "free" because I had the originals on Steam. But yeah, it's EA, so
Fiendish Freddy’s Big Top O Fun Super Off Road Racer Speedball Sensible Soccer Batman ‘89 Bruce Lee Shinobi California Games
It hasn't been officially announced yet but all the many leaks suggest it's been delayed to early 2021 because ME1 wasn't good enough. So hopefully this is a significant upgrade.
Now as for the game I actually want remade, the older Yakuza samurai game that was for PS3 please with a Western release and English subs.
Rae's like on this post reminded that there is yet another Myst remake coming out. I believe this is the first actual remake from the ground up whereas the other ones still used at least parts of the original game.
I liked for the fact that I have RealMyst, and now you're telling me I have to buy the game a third time?!
I don't really like remakes. I'd rather just replay the original FF7 than the remake. I've wanted to do that but I'm not sure how to hook up my PS1 without ****ing up my television. Any detailed how-to on how to do that would be appreciated. But I'll take good faithful sequels to the following: Dino Crisis Legend of Legaia Alpha Protocol Jade Empire Evil Genius Overlord King Arthur: the Role-playing Wargame (or just fix the original, dammit) Anachronox F.E.A.R.
I think there are third-party HDMI adapters but they tend to be iffy quality. "Enthusiasts" resort to modding their consoles or just buy old TVs.
Oooooh, that’s a good pick. Such a great game and a great setting that flew mostly under the radar. Definitely feels like they could get even more out of it.
KOTOR Jedi Knight Series Red Faction (2021 is 20th Anniversary so it's a good excuse) Dino Crisis Not sure what else, many of the games I like such as Halo, Tomb Raider, Wolfenstein, Doom & Mario have already had remakes/reboots/remasters.
I’m not usually interested in remakes, but I’d like to see a modern take on a few of my favourite games from the 90s/early 00s. Streets of Rage 2 Robocop vs The Terminator Cannon Fodder Soldier of Fortune The Getaway
