Full Series Omega (spoilers)

Since they didnt reveal anything in the Finale. I think now she is not force sensetive. She is an enhanced Clone and thats it. And after The Bad Batch attack on Mount Tantiss. She lives on Pabu. Until 30 to join the large Rebellion.

 

Or she (and the Bad Batch) are and just used the time jump to explain away why they aren't factors earlier on.

 

Yes she and her family lives peaceful life s until The Rebellion comes up.

 

Omega joins the Rebellion as a pilot. One pilot among many including aces we already know in the Rebellion. There is no reason to think she stands out in the Rebellion or is an important factor. She is only imported if very select imperials spot her. She may only be important when Project Necromancer restarts. I think that would be the only thing Hunter would unretire for. The choice not to fight is just a poignant as the choice to fight in The Clone Wars' narrative. It rings back to Rex and Cut's conversation in "The Deserter." all the way back in Season 2 of TCW. For me, I think that will forever remain the best episode of any of the TV series.

 

I think The Harbinger remained more a hindrance than a help to the story. Ventress did say Omega probably doesn't have a high M-count (though the writing tried to cast doubt on that with the idea that Ventress was lying). Omega herself knew meditation didn't work for her the way it did for Gungi, so she could've put the pieces together upon learning what an M-count is. The Sabine route would still be open, but hopefully Omega's case would be distinct enough if she goes that way.

 

I like to think that the possibility is still there that she has some Force sensitivity. Considering her "tests" came from Ventress while she was also being hunted down by the Empire, it wasn't really a good time for her to try and slow down and connect to the Force. The hints are still there that she could be receiving some input from the Force, though not consciously. But I also think she may not have much interest in exploring that side of herself any further, either. If she goes off to be a pilot, the Force could help in a similar manner to how it helped Lil Ani be good at podracing before he ever considered he could be a Force user.

I won't be upset either way whether they do or don't address it again.

 

I do think we’ll see her again.

also I really dig that what she thinks she can best provide the rebellion is the skill Tech taught her

 

I wouldnt be surprised to see Omega in some Mandoverse show or movie in live action as happened with the Rebels characters

 

More animation and live action with adult Omega.

 

They already have an academy award nominated actress playing their clone

Yes, and mostly ones that show these people must have a certain Internet Rule # in mind, which is creepy.

 

I saw a post on Reddit which was literally a reply to a post about adult Omega basically saying they can’t wait for that type of art. Honestly I don’t care what you do in your free time. But the fact that she’s only been an adult for like 2 minutes is a tad weird no?

I am forever in debt to whatever cosmic power stopped any of that art from being made previously. I love Star Wars fanart so seeing more risqué art is just part of the experience sadly, but unlike with Ahsoka which we all know how depressing that is. I have yet to stumble across any of that type of art for Omega.

I think clicking on images on google for Ahsoka when I was 8 scarred me forever. People on the internet are weird.

but then again isn’t the internet like 30% porn or something.

regardless. Super glad I haven’t stumbled across that art. I am sure I will now that she is an adult, but it was fun for my eyes while it lasted.

The creepy part about the Ahsoka stuff is I remember some popping up that was like "my vision of her when she's older" before there was really content of her older (like pre-Rebels). It's like the people who talk about "finally so and so actress/singer is 18." It means they were having creepy thoughts about a teenager and now think its ok to share them. Nah guys you just outed yourselves.

Anyway, Sydney Sweeney and Margot Robbie are definitely not going to play Omega. Neither is Mia Khalifa even if she is slighter closer in skin tone. That sort of thing.

 

I have always said just get Hughes to play her. She already plays Emerie Karr. She is the right ethnicity and she is an academy nominated actress.

anyway changing topics. I do love how the ending makes it clear as well as the whole episode that she takes after all of her father figures the ones that really stand out to me. Are tech, Hunter and Echo. But I also love how much the epilogue focuses on Tech without ever mentioning him.

honestly I think the epilogue may be one of the best ending scenes I have seen to a series.

I am still bummed we never saw Omega in armor though. It was such a popular topic in the fanart community about what her armor would look like when she was an adult.

but that doesn’t take away from the ending at all. Still think it’s near perfect. Not completely as I don’t think anything is perfect, but I can’t really name anything that bugs me about it. It left me feeling fulfilled in ways that Rebels, TCW and Resistance never actually did. And I think that’s why I like it so much.

I agree fully with the wish to see her with Hera Ahsoka and Ventress!

I appreciated her hair/outfit reflected the influence of Phee in her life.

 

So anyway she's going to be a pilot for the Rebellion and the Rogue Squadron movie is being worked on again....
