The way they talked in the premiere, I'm under the impression right now that she is a Jango clone, like the others; not sure why her particular mutation would have shifted her gender, but I'm sure that's information that will be doled out in the coming weeks. I'm very interested in this character right now and can't wait to learn more.

She seems to be sporting a McQurrie concept inspired Obi-Wan tunic:

I saw this mentioned somewhere else, It's a theory that Omega can mimic movements she sees. From shooting the blaster as accurate as Crosshair, she was also watching very closely as Tech was piloting the shuttle. Tech also says earlier that she seems pretty perceptive.

Could be the force, could just be (un)natural ability

Every unnatural ability to do anything in Star Wars without any apparent training is always because the Force did it

    Or because someone inherited it

What could such an ability be good for. Faster trainer of Clone Troopers? Is Omega the perfect spy?

Training* You quoted so there is no editing now, lol. It would be. I like going out on very fragile limbs with these theories.

Grogu for this show, then she will be yet another reason the Empire wants to hunt down the Bad Batch. I'm a huge fan of the idea that clones can be Force sensitive. I've never liked the idea that the Force isn't present in all living things, which even includes droids because even metal isn't some inert object devoid of living particles.

I do like the idea that Omega was unplanned, however. This gives the Empire, and Kaminoans, reason to understand her ability better, and moves the plot.

I liked her for the most part. She has spunk, so we'll see if that makes her endearing or annoying. I feel she's definitely a clone of someone, if not necessarily Jango.

Wonder if she is possibly a normal aging clone?

It's been said that everything has the force (at least in the new canon), it's just that not everyone is receptive to it.

I saw this too, and I like this option maybe more than Force ability. Her imitation ability could just be her unique mutation, and it presents a lot of interesting plot and character possibilities.

I wondered this as well. She's more "wise beyond her years," than "acting her age," for a kid character, and this highlighted the point that clones are supposed to sort of be kid characters too, albeit in adult bodies. I wouldn't be surprised if she's actually older than Hunter and co.

I know I have heard some speculation about Jango later on wanting a second normal aging clone, but that would really mess things up. I think that she is 11 years old and not like 5.5 like she would be for a normal clone. I think that Kamino either was hired to make a force sensitive clone or decided to do it themselves. I am almost certain she is force sensitive

Her young developmental age could be the result of being created without an accelerated growth modification - she’s closer in development to Boba’s age during the show than she is to the more weathered Bad Batch.

So she’d likely be produced after Boba, but growing more naturally than her other brothers.

She is a few years younger than Fett. So I think it works out.

If she's force sensitive, then has she had training, and by whom? The Kaminoans would presumably know all about her abilities, but it seems they're also not entirely loyal to Palpatine. My guess is that he doesn't know about her, otherwise Tarkin would have had some orders there.

She's an intriguing character, and I like how the batch instinctively accepts her.

Right now I'm thinking she's just an altered Jango clone like everybody else. Since Jango personally requested to have a non-altered clone as a son, maybe Nala Se found that interesting and used his dna to create a daughter for herself? As she's a Kaminoan she probably did it for study/non-personal reasons, but over time she could have developed a motherly attachment to Omega and that's why she let the Bad Batch take away to safety. I'm all for a Nala Se redemption arc.

I wouldn't mind this being the case but the math is incredibly tricky. Kama Su was a sieve of information when talking to Obi Wan and had no problem spilling how the *only* thing Jango requested, aside from his payment, was one unaltered clone and immediately after this Jango left Kamino to have his head hacked off.

Omega is confirmed a Jango clone. Otherwise, how would Tech have recognized her DNA? Anywho, I can't wait to see where the story takes her.
