I wasn't saying she was going into labor, I said she looked like she was in excruciating pain and looked like it was coming from from somewhere from her chest to her midsection because she was grabbing herself, does that not reflect on a certain scene from the first Alien movie? And I already established that I don't think the xenomorphs, if they do appear, and like has been said earlier, the suits were on set, that it wouldn't be for the majority at all, of the film. Just saying I think the whole oh, it's just in the same universe thing was a ruse. Because with the way that trailer promoted it, it looks like a total setup for the first Alien movie. I'm sure it will just be a lead-in, but still, it looks more than a "it takes place in the same universe" thing.

Sometimes I'm ashamed by how easy it is to market sci fi movies to me. You had me at opening spaceship shot, same as always.

Ok so this is a prequel, time to get that out of the way. Doesn't matter if 80 percent of the movie has anything to do with ALIEN, all that matters is that apparently the last 20 percent will.

Which is fine with me, I just hope it doesn't make the Aliens more important then they really need to be.


Ripley should have made FOREVER WAR instead. It's a book that fits his style perfectly, and what better way to return to sci-fi then a movie that could possibly give you an oscar nod.

it's too bad ridley will not be a character in this movie. they could have easily made her the daughter of one of the crew. like if someone gets a facehugger on their face she could come out of her quarters and say "mommy, what's going on? what is that spider on his face?" that would be cool.

I just hope the last scene isn't a facehugger jumping on the SJ's face. Very irritated if that happens.
