I was going TFA style, you opted for RoS.

 

I think a first age will happen at some point like in the far distant future.

 

So WB will make more LOTR movies and Amazon will make Rings of Power. Middle Earth is going competing with AGFFA for lots of content.

I would consider going to the theater again for Fellowship of the Rings, I love the first half of it, the whole intro to the shire and road to rivendell is excellent, and the second half while having more than enough action for my liking, is mostly entertaining as well

I generally like the PJ films, but the first one is my favorite and the one I watch the most by itself

Two Towers and Return of the King are good, there's a lot I like about them, but as films they do drag on a bit especially with some of the battle sequences, there's some great moments in the action as well like Theoden leading the Rohirrim across the Pelennor fields and when Eowyn defeats the Witch King

 

Same. Fellowship is my favorite of the three films. Two Towers and ROTK get dull whenever its Gollum & Frodo & Sam, like in the books (which I felt tempted to skip).

 

I will go and make a show of getting up to leave when it first fades to black. People deserve an authentic experience.

My favorite thing about ROTK is the credits. Into The West is magnificent!
