This is a huge team now. And extra cleric, thief, two paladins and a beholder. Now, which ones will die.
It occurred to me today that in the previous comic there is a Monster In The Darkness clue when Xykon says eh thought this kind liked to eat dwarfs. So at the moment they do not suspect MitD of purposely tampering, just incompetence.
That is an example of a character who's dump stat is INT but has a very good WIS score. I wonder now if this will become the water that waters the seed planted by Durkon.
I think Xykon is playing dumb here. He might not be privy to everything but I think he sees enough and he is going to have a knowledge reveal and take pleasure in making some tragic endings.
"Is never same as ad once you start playing." I think the "as" is a mistake here. Even with his broken speech this makes no sense. I wonder if Belkar can use his Ranger ability to tame the MitD.
No, it does, but the wolf doesn't use articles in his speech. He means that "It's never the same as the ad once you start playing". Basically, false advertising.
Well, panel one looks like a D&D game inside a D&D comic. And it feels like a throwback to 2nd Edition Proficiencies.
