    Hunh....interesting. Sounds like Dan's "perhaps-she-survived" prophecy's gonna take, after all. [face_coffee]

    Hmm.

What are you saying, she escaped two or three deaths in ROTS thus far? She's not wearing no Hat.

What if K'Kruhk scrificed himself, putting The Hat on her head just when Vader was about to strike? It could be "The Hat - The Next Generation"...

    EDIT:
I just read on Wookiepedia that K'Kruhk escaped to some hidden temple with his new no-name Padawan. I motion for a retcon to make Shaak Ti that Padawan. After all, he shows her the way to immortality (aka "playing dead 'til everyone's gone")...

SHAAK TI: A great Jedi Master, you have become, K'Kruhk. Your apprentice I gratefully become.

Wait, were CT-8770 through CT-8910 really all killed? It seems unlikely that it would be an uninterrupted set like that, although it was a staging area. Also, a casualty report doesn't mean they died...

(I ask because they were all added to Wookieepedia.)

If Shaak Ti's survived this long, she's probably going to have a date with Vader down the road in some new book or comic. It would be great if she popped up in LOTF somewhere [face_praying].

Shaak Ti voice "Master Skywalker, I've been gone for a little while, can you fill me in..."

She'll be in the TV show. B-list model (not in looks, though ;)) playing her, purposely cut death-- it all fits. Just like how Wilhuff Pygram's gonna be in the series.

Would that make this a spoiler for the TV show, then?

I personally was quite happy to see that there's still hope that Shaak Ti survived Order 66...and hey, if K'krukh and Tholme can cheat death as many times as they have, I say what the problem with one more Jedi playing that trick?

Matter of fact, I was mentioning the Pygram-TV-series-Tarkin angle to someone at the comics shop when I picked up my stuff on Wednesday...but absolutely, Krook Old Boy should be in there somewhere too.

Can you imagine The Hat made corporeal, in all its Rakatan-and-wicker glory? [face_hypnotized]

I can't say I'd mind seeing Shaak in the TV show. She's an existing character we've already established some connection with, plus her fate is fuzzy enough that they don't have to cook up some lame explanation to resurrect another film Jedi who's clearly dead. (Plo Koon ejected at the last second! And look, it's Kit Fisto's head on a robot body!)

However, that being said, the contrarian in me thinks it would be hilarious to forever leave her fate dangling, just to drive fanboys nuts. :p Maybe show up on some Imperial dossier in an RPG guide: "Missing since Order 66, intelligence reports contradict, body never recovered". o_O

Ten years later, a con artist appears posing as the lost Jedi Master Shaak Ti, almost bringing the Empire to its knees! Then some stuff about talking bats and a big explosion!

I thought it was funny that Zett Jukassa is listed as being killed for "threatening Senator Organa." I bet Bail must have loved being apart of Imperial propoganda with that one.

He's gonna have to love it (if he doesn't want to go missing in the middle of the night, of course).

I hope we'll finally get to see Vader killing some named and established Jedi like Shaak and the like. Also, I wonder what happened to Baron Papnoida...

There is some information about that in his databank entry:

And though Papanoida was an outspoken critic of Palpatine, he refused to commit himself to more overt political actions against the Chancellor. He instead funneled information to Senators of conscience, like young Chi Eekway. Such discretion allowed him to retain his standing as the Empire rose to power.

Hmm...wonder if he'll crop up in Republic's sucessor? His dubious alliegance could serve his character well.
