Other Emperor's Hands?

    I think it makes sense for the Emperor to have lots of hands. I've just never understood why Shira Brie was turned into one. When she was introduced, she was a toy of Vader's. There was never any suggestion that the Emperor had any control over her training/assignments/etc. I think she was portrayed as Vader's secret pawn and should have stayed that way. I know of no good reason for the change and I think it basically contradicts the original meaning (though admittedly no actual "facts") of her character.
