Outback Steak House

I know that you Americans adore that Australians have pet kangaroos and eat dogs, but I still hope that some of you realise that deep fried onion is not one of our delicacies.
Neither is Kookaburra Steak or No worries chicken. They say it's Australian themed but there are no meat pies or sausage rolls, or lamingtons and pavlova.
I was just wondering if anyone here eats there.

 

I've never eaten there, but like other foreign restaurants in the US... I'm sure it's been Americanized to death.

 

Outback Steakhouse has "real" Australian food... just like Taco Bell has "real" Mexican food!

If so, I've never been there but I would love to go.

 

i eat there fairly regularly... but i have no illusions that it is authentic... i just happen to like the food.

its like saying the olive garden is italian.

 

My friend likes to order the Warrior Burger or Mad Max Burger or whatever... "(for true warriors only)" and say "I'll have the Warrior Burger, for I am a true warrior."

Call it "Texas Steakhouse", take all the lame names out of the menu and you have something identical to LoneStar.

 

I ate there once. Too expensive for my taste.

 

I've never ate there in fact I'm the only one in my house who hasn't ate there...I wanna eat there.

 

I went their for my birthday and the prawn noodles made me spew.

Thats another thing! They called it shrimpy noodles. Shrimp? They're prawns!

 

Trust me, Angelic, you DO NOT want to eat there.

well we are all entitled to our opinions...

i personally like outback but like i said earlier, i know it is not authentic.

 

The only thing I like at the Outback is their cheese fries and pink lemonade. Chili's, on the other hand..

 

Give me TGI Friday's anyday.....their Jack Daniels Grill is INCREDIBLE

but Outback is ok, too

 

The ex insisted on eating there because of the "fake Aussie food" - She thought it was amusing because I'm Australian.

Of course, the food was...okay.

But I have actually eaten Kangaroo and Crocodile before!

 

First time I went there I thought it was like American South West Themed...or something like that...

Needless to say the name confused me...

That's from Chili's. And that thing is damned good, a meal in itself. I am so hungry right now. I hate you Xie.

 

Outback is pretty damn good eats. Might not be authentic to its theme, but it's still good food.

Also, I like Applebee's. Used to go there at least twice a month. Chicken fried chicken was my favorite.

Tonight it'll be Boston Billiards. They have some decent food too. Also, the adult drinks(and the shot-girls) aren't so bad either. Oh, and the pool.

 

Outback Steak House is the best restaurant in the world!

The Victoria's Filet is the food of the gods.
