Personally I like what theyre doing with Said's character. Right before Said shanked Schillinger and Robson, Beecher told him that the reason he is so full of rage is because he always kept it bottled up. When he finally let his 'Adebisi side' out, it could no longer be contained, esepcially after the Aryans tried to kill him and then killed Tidd.

I agree- this series needs one or two good guys, and Beecher is a little boring- so Said was a welcome calm influence in a sea of violence and craziness. Although with Keller coming back, it will make Beecher's character a lot more interesting, so who knows...

Having Keller around will definetly spice up Beecher. He's got nothing going on. True, the death of Hank and Pancamo taking the fall for it did fan the flames a bit for Beecher but nothing too serious.

And, that sit down he had with Pete, Vern and Said was kinda borring. I used to love the histiry of vern and Tobias but now, thats all it is...history. It seems, old hat now!

Do you guys remember that episode where, for the first time since probably the riot, every faction(Aryans, Muslims, Homeboys, Sicilians, Christians...) got together to protect Hill from that guy that he had snitched on? That was awesome...for once they all agreed on something...and I think Nappa took it one step further......killing the character in his cell.

Any info regarding OZ on dvd?

That episose was great, Sate ! It was back in season 3, I think, and Hill ratted out that dude Snake, who was played by Treach from Naughty by Nature. I remember the meeting of all the leaders of the factions, and Said asked them if theyd agree to protect Hill. They all agree, but Nappa goes a step further. He tells them how he knew the family that Snake murdered, and they were good people, so he will do Hill any even bigger favor. When Said asks for his help, he says something like 'I'll do you one even better."

Next scene Snake is shown in his cell, dead, after he got airholed. That was so sweet watching his corpse drip blood. He certainly deserved it.

I think that Said will go back to the old Said, but probably not completely. I bet that he will still be tough, meaning that if anyone ***** with him he will not be passive as he was in the past, he will fight.

Oh, and yes, I have heard about OZ being relesed on DVD and VHS. The entire first season will be released on March 19, and I believe it is 3 DVDs, loaded with extras. I cannot wait to pick this up !! I havnt seen the first season in years !!

What do you all think will happen with the returning Peter Schibetta ? Will he play a major role now and retake control of the Sicilians ? And what about Jia ? Will he seek revenge on the O'Reilly's after Cyril put him into a coma ?

I do think that Schibetta will have control of the Sicillians for at least a little while. Adebisi was his primary foe and now that hes outta the way and the Sicillians are back in control of the kitchen, things will start looking up for the Sicilians.

Under Pancamo, they were starting to lag behind. The "tri-force of power" (homeboys, Spaniards, and Sicilians) was more like a 2-way, with Chucky as more of an enforcer to the top dogs like Adebisi and Morales.

Does anybody know what happened to the IRA guy that tried to blow up Em City? Was he extradited(sp) to Ireland?

Im assuming that the Irish guy who made the bomb last season was extradicted, but I believe it was to England. Im fairly certain that in the season finale his lawyer said that he'd be sent to England to be 'tried.' Im assuming that once he got to England he went through a mock trial and was killed.

One thing that has really been bothering me before I leave :

Anyone notice how the gas explosion didn't kill anyone, not even Cloutier, who literally buried alive behind the kitchen walls ! WTF ???

Well, the only person I could think of that was, or should have been, killed was that CO that lit the match.

I was hoping Jeremiah died, but now I want him to survive so that he can rat on that orange-haired @$$hole. His name escapes me right now but I've always hated him....such a b**ch!

I think your right about him being deported back......thats probably why he tried to commit suicide.

Yes, the OZ site's updated look is very cool, now with complete character bios, which is very cool and useful to new fans looking to get to know these charactes.

Oh, and the redhead's name is Timmy Kirk, and I cant stand him, either ! But never fear, I think Hoyt will be shanking his ass real soon. :D

I thought his name was something like that. He must die, and soon. He's such a dip-****. But why do you think Hoyt will kill him? Arent they together on this one.....and didnt Hoyt take the fall for it.....I believe he was placed in the Hole for it. Do you think the good Reverand will ever recover and be added back to Em City? I was surprised to see that Luke Perry was still there, I thougth he was just a temp like Method Man.

if you could revive one character, who would it be?

I think I would choose Adebisi! He was probably one of the best characters on the show. I used to love when Simon would beat up Wangler...now he's another charater taht I hated with a passion. Adebisi just used his ass to get exactly what he wanted.

I guess you could equate Adebisi to Palpatine.

    Up, up, and away!

OZ started getting a pretty good buzz last season after remainig fairly low key for the first 3 seasons or so. Unfortunately I dont think it wil ever receive the same kind od success that The Sopranos or Sex and the City have, mainly because of the subject matter, which obviously include intensely graphic depictions of sex, alnguage, and violence.

If I could bring back one character it would not be Adebisi, although I loved him on the show. I felt that his character had gone about as far as it could. As he told Said, there was nothing left for him but to die. He had everything when he was ruling Em City and still wasnt enough. Death was the only answer.

If I could bring back anyone it would be Kenny Wangler. I was so pissed when they killed him off, especially cuz I didnt see it coming. I thought he was a great 'partner' to Adebisi, kind of like Robin to Adebisi's Batman. He still had great potential, especially since his character was only 19. I felt he was finally starting to come into his own, even leading the homeboys, albeit temporarily.

Ahh, well you are indeed missed, Bricks. :D

I hated Kenny. He was a pompous airhead who only had control of the homeboys because Jefferson died and Adebisi went insane.
He was too head strong and didnt always think about his actions. He made enemies real quick...especially with the Sicilians.

His death was not expected either. That French guy just went crazy. Thank God Poet survived. Adebisi just used Wangler to get what he wanted...McManus outta Em City and have ablack guy replace him....I loved Querns, but was also happy to see him go!

"Bring me his @$$!!" - Querns. He was a great addition to OZ.

Yes, Querns was pretty cool but you knew eventually he'd have to go. There is no way that **** like that would ever go on in prison, especially for a prolonged period of time.

Cant wait for tomorrow's episode! With the return of both Chris Keller and Jia Kim, as well as all of the new beef between the Sicilians and the Aryans, it should be a helluva a show! :D

Oh, and Sate, the reason that I believe Hoyt may kill Kirk is for the same reason Jim Burns wanted to. Because Cloutier appered to Hoyt in a vision while he was in the hole, and I think this will slowly drive Hoyt insane, and the only way to stop 'the voice in his head', if you will, would be for him to kill Kirk.

Before I go for the day, if there was one more inmate Id bring back to Oz besides Wangler, it'd be Antonio Nappa. He was the epitome of an old school Sicilian. :D

Definetly Nappa. He was a good boss!!

Hmmm, your theory on why Hoyt would kill Kirk sounds good. Lets hope he does, I cant stand Kirk....his time in OZ is coming to end.

Looking foward to Sundays episode with much anticipation. Lets hope this episode gets back to the roots of OZ, enough of this mushy crap!

If I could bring back one character it would be a really tough call among three, with heavy leanings towards the second two.

Kenny/Bricks. I know he was bad, but I liked his character

Nappa. The best boss for the Italians yet. I am thankful that Schibetta has returned though.

Stanislovsky. The ultimate foil to Ryan O'Reilly, I miss his itelligence and cunning.

Last night's episode was a goodie ! I hope Guerra still gets killed, even though he and Alvarez supposedly made peace. The return of Jia Kenmin to Em City should eb interesting, especially with his boy now up in there, too. Something will happen between them either way, and Ive got a bad feeling Cyril will be on the short end of the stick. Im very happy that Keller is back but I hope they take him out of protective custody sooner than later, I want to see him interacting with the other inmates again. And how sick was the endig ?? Hoyt burying that crucifix deep into Kirk's belly. Nice ! Than the whole thing with Cloutier, which is becoming very strange indeed.

Hey, Sate, I guess Schibetta wont be leading the Sicilians back to glory anytime soon. Ouch !
