Padme's feelings about Anakin's female padawan apprentice

But is this not pertaining to the film and early episodes? He definitely will form an attachment to her early on, I'm not arguing that. I'm simply speculating at what their relationship will be like by the end of the series. I figure something is going to have had to happen to her by the time of ROTS, in order to explain why she's not at Anakin's side anymore.


If she:

-dies
-gets reassigned to another Master because Anakin is deemed a bad influence
-gets expelled from the Order (despite Anakin's efforts to stand up for her)

or something along those lines, then one would expect that Anakin would still be very upset (attached) that he lost a close friend, and either furious at the Council or Separatists because of it. Instead while on the Invisible Hand, he seems to be enjoying the adventure and excitement quite a bit, carrying out their mission in a pretty laid back temperment. They could kill her off, but I think it would make subsequent viewings of ROTS awkward, and raises the question as to why Anakin did not get the rank of master if he was handeling the loss of a "little sister" so well.

Now, if by the end of the series her and Anakin had developed a conflict, then he could more easily let her go and move on. It would explain why she's not around and why he doesn't really seem to care at all. I think Padme could potentially become a source of friction between the two of them. Just an idea.

 

Most of that frustration seemed to come from events that occurred in ROTS itself: failing to appoint Anakin as a Master despite his appointment to the council, and their request that he spy on Palpatine.

 

I'd prefer 2, even if she WILL end up deadin the end

 

Those first three were listed as the ones I felt would create an awkward situation in ROTS. If Ahsoka were to get reassigned, then that would be something I would imagine would have to happen sometime during the middle of the war, and not at the end; it would allow Anakin some time to get over it. But, if she just gets reassigned, then one might expect that Anakin would try to maintain contact with her - if they develop a brother-sister relationship as some have suspected - if she's atill around, which wouldn't solve the attachment problem, so I wouldn't see the point of having her reassigned in the first place.

 

Perhaps under young Master Skywalker's tutelage Ahsoka becomes an even looser cannon than Anakin ever was and due to wrecklessness on her part a major disaster in battle occurs that costs many lives and she's driven from the order. Just a thought.

 

I think Padmé and Ahsoka might get along quite well. Padmé could tell Ahsoka about "Annie" as a child, while Ahsoka could tell Padmé about Skyguy and some of their misadventures. It'd practically be like to a guy's girlfriend and little sister getting along well together, trading stories and dirt about the guy in question. Poor Anakin would get so embarrassed.

Talk about girl power that would give Anakin a headache and provide Obi-Wan and the other Masters with more humor at Anakin's expense.

Padme would only be jealous if Anakin and Ahsoka Tano had sexual relations with each other, i dont think that anakin would have sex with his own padawan learner, and she is underage, assuming that Star Wars has an underage law, i think that Anakin would get in a lot of trouble from the jedi council and from Padme if he slept with his apprentice or tried to seduce her, i dont know what the council would do if a master ever tried to take advantage of his own apprentice by having sex with them either.

Hahaha wow, a little detailed there. It's not exactly "Will Anakin have an affair with his padawan because she's a girl." but moreso, heres a young female who has alot in common with Anakin and spends more time with him then he gets to see his own wife. It wouldn't be unusual if Ahsoka developed a crush on him, seeing as Anakin is basically the Joe Jonas of Star Wars. He's famous, he's young, he's good looking, "funny", muscular and talented [though I don't find the Jonas brothers very talented..]Padme could not approve of Anakin having a Padawan for this very reason, for Ahsoka's well being. Also, Ahsoka knows Anakin differently then Padme- Padme knows Anakin as her husband, and as the young boy who loved her years ago. Ahsoka knows Anakin as a buddy, a mentor and a fellow adventurer.
