    The backless one :D

Y'know, come to think of it, George Lucas has the greatest taste in costuming ever.

oh the fireplace scene costume is the best. why oh why did hasbro never release a figure with her in that costume?! I also loved all the figures I picked up at Toys R Us midnight madness, but only one Padme Amidala item?! I was pissed off about the lack of Padme merchandise! I remember in the TPM their was Amidala shirts, dolls, and everything else in between. Oh well the fireplace costume always has me going to that scene in AOTC on my DVD!

oh hasbro it would have made a great 12 inch figurine!

Love Slave, I totally agree with you on the lack of Padme representation with the merchandise. A lot of other characters seem to be well represetend. However, one must agree ROTS is going to be Anakin centric. That being said, all of Padme's costumes, even the TPM ones, namely the peace ceremony one, need to be in doll form (I do realize that most were, I just think that one should be seen, though I do like the purple one too). She is the epitome of beauty and her clothes are so beautiful, she is just tailor made to have more figures. It's a shame that she doesn't. She had so many beautiful clothes in AOTC. Perhaps later on we will see more.

I agree the fireplace scene hands down is her hottest costume, nothing beats that tight corset! And the lack of Padme merchandise has me pissed off at hasbro. Oh well their better be a basic figure with her sporting the rolls!

Probably the blue Tatooine garage one. I love how it reflects her role as the motherly type. It just adds that courtly beauty that the corset and others blow out of proportion.

i said earlier, the nightgown she was wearing during anakins meditation but the outfit she was wearing to her parents house in the deleted scenes was pretty hot too.

If it's not that one, then it's the one she wears in the deleted scenes at her parents house.

I have no idea why they never released a Barbie-esque version of Padme from the prequels. She's hardly on any merchandise due to her more feminine/romantic, less-action oriented role, but releasing a doll with all of the constumes would have been a great idea. Sure, some of the detailing would have to be lost to cut costs on mass production, but I'm betting they would have sold had they released a doll of her with the whole clothing line. (At least, if I were younger, I would've wanted her. :p I loved the costumes in the prequels.)

This being said, I always loved this outfit from episode I because of it's obvious oriental influence:

This was my fave from episode II, simply because it's has a simplistic beauty about it compared to her other, more decorated panoplies:
