Panic Room, starring Jodie Foster... I CAN'T WAIT!

Panic Room trailer!

All I can say about the trailer is wow... I dare say it is as enticing as "Breathing"! Plus, I love the premise and Jodie Foster kicks butt... and the camerawork is promising to be super!

Anyone else looking forward to seeing this?

 

I'm definitely looking forward to it, but I wish they didn't show the trailer every time I went to see a movie. It's a good one, but it does get old after awhile.

 

I think the movie looks kinda pointless and silly, and I didn't care for that trailer at all.

 

I love the trailer. Same director as Fight Club too. But I can't imagine what the exact plot will be.

 

"All we want is in that room." What do you suppose that means?

 

Jodie Foster looks lush in the trailer, so I'd say they want her. They did see her go in afterall.

 

Can't argue with that, how does someone look that good while pregnant? And Jennifer Aniston doesn't count...

 

Is she working for an inteligence agency? That was my thought when watching the trailer.

 

I've been waiting for this movie ever since I first heard about a few months ago. David Fincher is awesome director, and thi smovie looks like it will be one of his best.

 

"All we want is in that room."

Means... Jodie Foster!

 

And her kid!

 

Am I the only person who saw the blue, whirling light type portal looking thing on the ceiling in the panic room? They showed it in the trailer for a second. I imagine that has something to do with what their after.

Who said electrical fire? Earlier in the trailer it looks like they're feeding some kind of tube into the room; I'd guess it's a gas fire...

 

It'd just be normal flame though then, wouldn't it?

From what I understand, Jared Leto plays a young man whose (wealthy) family used to live in that house, so he and a posse break in, intending to find a large sum of money his grandfather apparently hid in the panic room.

 

That makes more sense than a lot of other theories I've heard... they pushed the released to the 28th or 29th, didn't they?

 

It's coming out March 29, same day as Death to Smoochy (another one I can;t wait for)

I actually read the novelisation of Panic Room (Odd for me because I haven't read a novelisation since the mid-eighties) and this film is going to be great. I can totally see Foster in this role. I am a big Nicole Kidman fan, but I'm really glad circumstances lead to Foster getting the lead.

Fincher is a great director. His films are almost always stlyish, and it's a stylish I love. Seven, The Game and Fight Club are all films I love, and by the looks of it, Panic Room is going to be up there too.

There are some great twists in the story, and a grittiness that serves to make the film not entirely beyond the realm of fantasy. It's unlikely anything liek this would ever happen, but after reading the book I couldn't help but wonder what would I do if it did?

Now for the questions above...so stop reading if you want to be totally unspoiled.

I'm a big Fincher fan so I'm looking forward to Panic Room as well. Looks like it'll be a great suspenseful film.
