    Didn't make the connection/notice it before, but rewatching the Knuckles trailer, they have the sports commentator joke... and though it is different commentators... they are on ESPN 8 "The Ocho".

    Thus, this show and the Sonic films are not in the Sonic Cinematic Universe. They are in the Dodgeball Cinematic Universe.

    The only disappointing bit about this news is that it ends the popular rumour that Hayden Christensen was gonna voice Shadow.

    But hey, as consolation prizes go, this one's pretty sweet. :)

    Just released a little while ago.



    I'll trust folks here would let me know how it is when they see it at the cinema. I'll wait for the streaming release myself.

    Shadow gets his motorcycle. Neat. Stone and Robotnik will probably continue to be my favorite part.

    I was torn because they both can do the same thing so well, wasn’t sure if it was Carrey in the dual role or NPH.

    I've enjoyed the first two and this one looks promising too.

    Doubt it'll be a cinema watch (very little is these days) but a must watch once it gets to streaming or similar

    Maybe Robotnik doesn't recognize him as Santa, and then Santa reveals who he is "in the saggy flesh!". Or we get a montage of the Robotniks creating moments to fill in his lost childhood after he introduces himself.

    Knuckles series was fun enough when you realized it was the Wade Wipple bowling tournament show with guest appearances by Knuckles dropping in some choice quips, and the theme song is this banger

    This is wonderful!



    Knuckles guiding the sleigh had be cracking up.

    EDIT- Finished the Knuckles series. It's surprisingly good. I actually enjoyed it far more than the first two films. The supporting cast is so bizarrely funny. How they came up with that take for the sister's character I cannot fathom [face_laugh]. All of the humans are more entertaining, and more connected to the overall plot, than Sonic's family (and/or adjacent wedding escapades), which I think goes a long way to elevating the series over the films.

    And now I have a new, catchy 80's anthem jam that I had somehow never heard before. :cool:

    I hope Sonic 3 picks up with Sonic wondering why Knuckles is only eating/demanding Doritos, grapes, and Jewish meals. He's so adorable eating for some reason. He's so happy.
