The explosion not only dispatched the thugs but sent Kira flying, she couldn't tell what happened to Khadras as she landed in a heap in the other room and began to slowly get back on her feet. What was in those crates? Had to be low grade baradium at least. She got up to find Khadras...

Damn he thought "ok you alright Kira" he said checking himself for injuries and seeing that there was a gash on his left leg that was bleeding a lot "kira go to door and make sure there is no one coming while i use a medpack on this. didn't know what was in damn crate but that was a helluva an explosion dont you think"

"My guess is Baradium, probally low to mid grade. As I'm sure we've checked all the rooms I'll go keep watch up front."
Kira hurried of after making sure Khadras had his injury under control.

"Damn it try to play the hero and you get hurt every time" he said annoyed at himself for making that stupid mistake. He was able to get the wound closed but now it meant that he was a 'walking wounded' which meant he was now more oa burden then he wanted to be "kira you see anything up there?" he asked in a serious tone

"Nothing yet... Wait, a few, no wait make that a dozen what appear the be thuigs riding swoops are getting pretty close. And they don't look like they came to exchange pleasentries over a cup of tea!"

"kira how many stun grenades do you have left, i have four detonators if we time this right we should be able to knock them off those swoops." he said as he limped toward the door "ok check your power pack. wow that painkiller is kicking in, ok i might get a little loopy for a bit so bear with me." after he had said the opening volley started "ok kira this should be the SOP by now on three lob two stun grenades if you have if not take these two detonators and toss 'em" he said loudly into the commlink.

Kira had run out of the stun grenades so she accepted the detonaters and with an expert grenadier arm threw them into the best possible position or close to it. The Explosions sent some of the riders flying, still holding onto their swoops before crashing into various objects.

"Nice" he said as he watched the riders go flying "pour it on 'em Kira" and with that he began firing like a mad man.

Kira opened fire, but by now most had taken cover only appearing for a second or two to shoot the occasional shot back at the store.

IC: Jonas Sveren
Location: 118th Coruscant Guard Regiment, Judicial District, Imperial City

His armor was always in great condition, this time was no different as he approached the Imperial Security bureau's HQ along with Colonel Freyr. Always maintain your equipment, one of the first things he learned when he joined the Imperial Army over a decade ago. Jonas Sveren was regarded as the best at keeping his equipment in top condition. That didn't change when he joined the Coruscant Guard. Jonas sat in the speeder, quietly awaiting to arrive at headquarters so their meeting could get underway.

The speeder soon arrived at it's destination and Colonel Freyr exited the vehicle first being greeted by a Captain and a stormtrooper guard. Jonas got out quickly and followed as they were lead down the halls of the ISB headquarters. It was an honor for Jonas to get invited by the Colonel to accompany him to this meeting. Jonas had no idea what it was about but he certaintly would put in his two cents on this situation, whatever it was when he got word of it here. Jonas could feel an indifference within Colonel Freyr, he knew something was up but he couldn't quite touch on it just yet. The Colonel and Jonas walked side by side through the halls. Jonas made eye contact for a brief moment with the colonel as they both turned their heads at the same time. Freyr asked him a question and Jonas took a moment to think.

"Sir," Jonas adressed his superior properly, "I have the same feeling. Hopefully this meeting will bring us up to speed on what exactly is going on, Sir."

They continued to follow their escorts down the halls of the Imperial Security Bureau's headquarters.

"Kira think we ought to call in air support" he joked over the commlink, by the that time bacta had begun to work he could feel the stinging as it work its why into the wound "damn i hate this this stuff" he said grimicing, and then the painkiller set in,
"ok Kira I have a lost a good amount of blood and the painkiller is starting to work so i might be slipping in and out of conscisous" he said "here take this" handing her one of his pistols "you may need it, i wonder how everyone else is doing" as he said that he looked over the barricade in time to see one of the goons poke his head and with one well timed shot got him in the head "Thats one"

At the moment that Khadras gave her the pistol her rifle ran out of ammunition. "Blast it!" She took the pistol and drew her own and had her back to the wall next to the door before swiveling around and unleashing a barage of bursts which took out two of her remaining foes. Having a skilled bounty hunter as a parent had its benefits, you tended to learn more about combat then most hardened stormtroopers or commandos learned in twenty years. Next time they were at base she would phone home and request her extending electro-quarterstaff. She ducked down behind a flipped speeder bike before rolling to one side and shooting the power generator of a swoop, sending it and the foe behind it flying. With her last foe dispatched she turned and reloaded, finishing as the bike and foe returned for a splattering crash in the backround.

"Damn that kids good" he said lazily he hoped this painkiller didn't last long or he would be in trouble "Kira see anymore goons or other people who tend to participate in unlawfull activities, lets try to get us a prisoner for the colonel. Ok?"

"I saw a pair that looked like they were going to join the fight but they seemed to walk the other way after the way the bikers just lost that fight." She said with a smile. "As for a prisoner, we have ten at least from all those heavily stunned rooms."

"ok" he said in a very drowsy tone "I'll go back and cuff those ones think you can handle those two without me kid?" he said as he got up test the ground as he walked drizzily back to the rooms "if i need you i call on the commlink, copy?"

"I copy. I don't think that other pair will be coming back though, I'll radio for pickup." Kira replied before activating her link with command, "HQ, this is Kora Sarken, fire team rill. We have sequred the objective and have files waiting for decryption and stunned suspects as well. We are requesting pickup for travel back to base, over."

While Kira called in the 'big guns' as they used to call it in the commandos he set about cuffing the suspects with stun cuffs and flex cuffs, because after what fun was the interegation process without a little pain. Well , he thought, these guys should have been more careful. "kira" he said over the commlnk "let HQ know that these goons are secured and that they have a clear LZ, Copy?"

"Copy." Kira replied before relaying the message to HQ. Now they just had to wait for pickup and find out how valuable the information they had gathered was.

After he had cuffed all the stunned goons he made sure that no one saw him take is helmet took out his smokes light one up inhaled deeply and sat down on some rubble "kira come into the main room and take a load off while we wait for the calvary" he said in the commlink and exhaling at the same time. "By the way you wanna smoke?" he asked

"Oh thanks, but no thanks. So what made you join the guard?"

"Well" he said exhaling "i was in the commandoes for about two years and before that i was a regular stromtrooper and even before that i was myself a rabble rouser just like these goons. So after two years in the commandoes i was a little bored with the whole thing and i wanted to do something new and different and hopefully use the skills i learned in the commandoes and possibly teach up and comers in the ranks and besides with rebels so called success in destroying the death star if they do come here i want to get in on that by protecting this majestic city. what about you?" he asked taking another drag off the smoke before putting it out.

Kira thought about it for a second before replying, "I've already told you my father was a bounty hunter, and a rather good one at that. What I haven't told you was that my mother was a Guard, and in the end I decided to be a Guard, at least for a few years. Maybe after I learn some more I'll become a bounty hunter like my father." As Kira finished she dug into a ration bar, it was just some form of a grain bar with berries and nuts but it sure tasted good after a hard fight like what they had just gone through.

"Oh really" he said lighting up another smoke "Never really had a fondness for bounty hunters seeing is how i came from corriella
and my family, at least the ones i knew, were primarily pirates, hired guns and the like. Which is what i would be doing if i wasn't in the guard. So let me guess your old man was the one who taught you how to toss grenades like that huh?" he said inhaling the smoke, the taste wasn't that great but they were cheap one that he picked up at the commisary "after all this gets wrapped up and we get off duty you want to go get a drink or something?" he asked exhaling

 

OOC: Greetings, friends. It's terribly unfortunate for me to have to say this, but alas, real life duties have risen that will render me unable to devote time for role playing for a while. I will not bore you with elaborations on the subject, but I do wish to tell you that I do plan on returning. And if this game is willing to accept me back into its graces, then I will gladly rejoin you all when the time is right.

Therefore, if all goes according to plan, I will be back among the RPF around Christmas time. Until then, I bid you all farewell.

"Yes actually, my father taught me most of my grenade skills and ranged weapons, as well as some specialized weapon training and my mother taught me most of my martial training and melee skills." Kira took another bite of her bar as Khadras said, "After all this gets wrapped up and we get off duty you want to go get a drink or something?"

Kira looked up before replying, "Sure, have any place in mind?"
