Do people / creatures, in the SW universe perspire, have body odor, or halitosis? Would they use deodorant or would there be a way to remove the scent from the sweat glands?

Since we see most of the characters with nice teeth, is it safe to assume that dental hygiene is practiced even in the outer rim territories. Brushing twice daily.

What about unwanted body hair, could a human or humanoid go to a special place for electrolosis?

Are there Roman style bathhouses where one could go for recreation and relaxation?

Or even a personal day spa for the females?

Just wondering since we have yet to see anyone performing personal hygiene methods.

I don't think that the Rancor brushed. Luke must have been dying down there.

First and foremost, let me start with basic hygiene in the form of bathing.

Sonic baths are hygenic devicse which use sound waves to gently clean away bodily grime. They can be set to use varying wavelengths of sound, imparting a basic cleansing or a soothing massage.

Sonic showers are similar to sonic baths, except that the user can stand upright while being cleaned.

These are just basic. There are other forms of bathtub/shower equivalents, of course. The "blast scrubber", for instance, is a bathroom fixture which sends a jet of warm water at high speed. When bubbles are added to the jet, the blast scrubber cleans as well as invigorates the skin. "Clenswash" tanks are also bathtub type equivalents.

Since we see most of the characters with nice teeth, is it safe to assume that dental hygiene is practiced even in the outer rim territories. Brushing twice daily.

The "Vaporizing Tooth-Cleaner" is a device which, when brushed against the teeth, vaporizes the plaque and other non-enamel substances that have adhered to the teeth.

Are there Roman style bathhouses where one could go for recreation and relaxation?

Yes, actually. The Alaphoe Gardens are a prime example of this. The Alaphoe Gardens is a luxurious collection of buildings and plantings graced Lalos Island, on the planet Procopia. Consisting of the gardens themselves, a concert hall, riding stables, a bathhouse, and the beuatiful Glass Palace, the Gardens are considered the most wondrous site on the planet.

Or even a personal day spa for the females?

Zord's Atmosphere Baths is a spa, located on the backwater world of Formos. It provides a variety of steam and atmospheric gas baths for the beings who pass through the sector. :)

There are also personal versions of spas, such as the vibrobath, which is a a form of sonic whirlpool used to relax muscles, and the pulse kneader, which is a form of water-based massage system.

And that oughtta do it. ;) :)

Ken Kenobi- And you have a nice day ;)

Can't you just imagine all those Naboo handmaidens relaxing in a steam room?

There obviously weren't adequate Personal Hygiene facilities on the Death Star.

To extend it a bit further: the armor part of Mandalorian armor looks easy enough to clean. What about the flight suit part? Do the Fetts use the friendly neighborhood dry cleaner or are there laundry facilites on Slave I? Or does Boba just keep a bunch of matching suits in the closet and just discard the current one when it takes on a life of its own?

Edit - maybe new flight suits are what he spends a lot of his credits on..

I wonder what hygiene is like on Tatooine. I would guess that homes have two showers-regular, and sonic. You could take a water shower once a week, and the rest of the week you'd have to take a sonic shower to keep clean.

And do you think they have cleaning solutions for your hair and skin, that would eat away the bacteria that makes one stink?

I don't know about Tatooine, I don't know what the life of a slave would be like or if they were able to purchase such items for cleaning.

Also water on Tatooine would most likely be for drinking only.

One good thing about Cleigg and the moicture farm is that Shmi would have been taken care of better than by Watto.
