1. How is this a plot hole...? Is it just because that's not how quick sand works because boy howdy do I have a list of things in Star Wars that don't work like they do in the real world. 2. She wasn't. BB-8 noticed it and presumably he scanned it.
Ochi's ship is next to the quicksand. Ochi fell into the quicksand. Rey and co. went to Ochi's ship. Rey and co. fell into the quicksand next to Ochi's ship. Rey and co. were in the same location as Ochi was when he died and lost his dagger...next to his ship. This makes perfect sense. This is a good one. He didn't have a wayfinder. He didn't have anyone feeding him navigation markers. And he didn't have ship capable of traveling through hyperspace. Impossible.
1. But this thread is about plot holes in TROS. Not plot holes in other SW films. I assume quick sand could not be above a void because it would sink into the void. There is nothing to hold it up. 2. I really don't understand your response.
Did you see Jawas on Passana? Instead we met some of the nicest and most gracious aliens we’ve ever met in Star Wars.
He was in awe over what was happening there and worried for Chewie on board If that ship came crashing down. He was on Jakku when Kylo Ren froze a blaster bolt shot at him for more than a minute while carrying out an execution before releasing it also. NEXT!
So, does that mean that any plot hole can be dismissed with head canon? Because in my opinion that is what you have done. Do we have any agreed standards for what a plot hole is? That might help this discussion.
If Rey could sense Chewie was on the Star Destroyer when she was on Kijimi, how did she not sense he wasn’t on the transport on Pasaana?
Love, love, love this film but this was one thing that had me scratching my head. How did he get off the DS2 and find a transport?
why didn't the Knights of Ren say anything? Not a plot hole just wondering. And what did the 2nd stormtrooper say? Knights of Ren. He either said cool or ghouls.
Your response is not good enough. If he was worried for Chewie, he could have just shot at Kylo Ren, so that Rey makes the ship land in safety. There was absolutely nothing to lose by shooting at Kylo Ren, and it's what EVERYONE would have done in that instance. It just wouldn't help the narrative that Rey must push herself enough to accidentally shoot lightning. Remains a plot hole.
Ah, gotcha. The dagger said something about where you needed to be. Something about a location approaching from the south shore, I think. But how she was able to stand in the EXACT location, that's just standard movie fortune. Everybody is always exactly where they need to be.
Another thing that might help the discussion is to know that I was joking, I don't care and I am not interested in the explanation by any means. You have been in this forum for long enough to know how threads like this one go. Those who hate the movie consider a plot hole virtually everything, and those who love it make stuff up in order to claim that there are no plot holes in any shape or form.
I mean the only way I can make it work is to say he found a fully functioning TIE fighter in the DS2 ruins. Even then that could easily be disputed by the condition of those ruins. Who knows?
No, and that's the biggest problem with these threads. Too many people think "it's unlikely that this would have happened" is a plot hole. Neither getting lucky nor being dumb are plot holes. Plot holes for the sake of a discussion like this should be reserved for things that contradict established internal logic. Kylo Ren flying a standard issue TIE from the battle of Endor to Exogol without a wayfinder is a perfect example of a good plot hole for multiple reasons.
