ST POLL: The Death Star Wreckage

Like many are saying it seems highly unlikely they would build a full size Blockade Runner for one part of the flash fight. Equally seems unlikely they would feature such a ship type other than the Tantive IV from the most iconic movie opening of all time. Sure looks like Yavin.

I don't know, perhaps they find the Tantive IV and then fly it to Yavin all as part of the McGuffin finding storyline.

The ship set could then be used for multiple locations in the film dressed differently, justifying its construction.

Or they could just be being incredibly indulgent!!

Ok so this fight at Yavin with time-travel and Rey lifting the Death Star out of a planet are ridiculous enough that they're probably true.

 

I'm beginning to think that they only visit the DS II to find out what happened to the Emperor after he got thrown down the shaft. I'm presuming the 'security recordings' will still be good after all these years.
