    wow

    I always knew England was small but now it feels tiny. My uncle can drive from London to my family in the Highlands, Scotland in like 12 hours and they are quite a way away :(

    12 hours is close here. My family takes long road trips across the country. Two years ago we went out east (from Calgary). It felt like I think it took two days for us to pass the great lakes. We took six weeks to drive all the way to Newfoundland and back. We stopped at a couple of places allong the way. Visited family here and there, spent a week in Ottawa. The only province/territory that my family has not seen is Nunuvut. The new one and Labrador, if you count it seperately from Newfoundland (five years ago we spent four weeks up north, went as far as we could drive in the summer). Now I am up north again (no car and no family this time) I kind of like having sun late at night. I can still sleep when I want to so it is fun.

    For reference I don't like being able to see my dog run away for a week. I drove through Saskatchewan and found it too flat (except for the north) I stayed for a bit too at a friend cabin. too flat. I like my mountains in Calgary. They are better in Whitehorse though. I look out of the window and I see mountains, it is the same just about everywhere in town. The only time you can't see mountains is when there are buildings in the way. Very cool.

    OK enough rambling. I am done now.

    Yeah, Saskatchewan can be reeeeeeeeeally flat at times, and at others, it can be hilly and wavy. That's as you head towards Alberta of course.

    Vanila Coke is OK but I still prefer root beer.

    Alberta is very nice especially when you get into the mountains. It is beautiful in the mountains. I may be a little biased though, I have been camping in those mountains since I was three months old.

    Haven't had root beer, we dont get that here. Well you can if you go to special stores that import things but they normally cost alot more :(

    Sounds really nice, ok does anyone fancy swapping countries and coming and living in England for a year or so? ;)

    //Passes Mike a coke...

    Or would you prefer Irn-Bru? ;)

    I would have no problem coming over to live in England for a year. My only problem is cost, and the fact that I need to finish my degree at University first... :( :_|

    No root beer! I didn't think it was possible. I don't think I can move to England. Besides I have grown attatched to all the big open space in Canada. So much to see and do and discover. Plus there is plenty of good camping and hiking. Canada can be very beautiful. And root beer is not hard to find or overly expensive.

    I don't know. With the exception of A&W Root Beer, root beer isn't all it's cracked up to be. Besides, Irn-Bru makes a mean Ginger Beer. Mmmm. :p

    Well in London you probably can find root beer more easily then elsewhere.

    See I like things like Oreo cookies which are hard to find here :(

    We dont have much of anything good here .....will someone adopt me? ;)
