Chapter 15

Anakin was on approach to the campingsite when Ern-Iburke contacted the cockpit and said ?take the transport to the nearest hospital.?

The voice of Ern-Iburke was harrowed and when Anakin probed his bond with his master he took the craft in a sharp turn and thrust the trottles far forward to its maximum speed for atmospheric flight. ?This is bad, hang on Master. Why? Gresnik has eaten them and I loved them.? Anakin muttered.

Benno came into the cockpit and heard Anakin's mutterings. He asked ?what?s the emergency??

Anakin said ?my master needs to go to the nearest hospital because he is allergic to some grubs he has eaten.?

Benno said in a lecturing voice ?you know your master is a vegetarian and only eats meat when there is nothing else available. Qui-Gon didn?t like meat either and when Obi-Wan was his padawan he became a vegetarian too. Playing a prank like that is dangerous young Anakin.?

Anakin said ?but I ate them too and didn?t get sick.?

Benno checked the computer for the nearest hospital and the harbour town Ingal was closest. He contacted the hospital. ?No, healer present, will do, will meet at that field. Benno out?

Benno said ?Anakin land at that field. A medevac will transport Enga and Obi-Wan to the hospital? and he pointed at a small green spot in the distance that was rapidly growing to become a big meadow.

A bright yellow dot was turning into a medevac and both craft touched down shortly afterwards.

As soon as he had turned down the engines Anakin raced towards the medbay. He paled when he saw his master connected to a respirator and a slowly beeping heartmonitor and started to mutter ?why must you have allergies. It was only a little prank.?

Enga said with a stern voice ?come help me carry him towards the medevac and you can tell me more about that on the flight to the hospital. Prank! What did you give him Anakin??

Enga and Anakin guided the stretcher with Obi-Wan down the ramp of the transport towards the medevac. Enga recognised one of the medics immediately and said ?hoi Dylan, I am relieved to see you? and to Anakin she said ?he has been a firechief at the Jeditemple for years and knows how to treat Jedi.?

Dylan Henny said ?this is my colleague Kevin. Come get him inside. It is only a short flight towards Ingal general hospital. And you two can join me in the back.?

In the Jeditransport Alwin Karao said with a sobbing voice ?poor master Kenobi. Is he going to be alright??

Benno said ?he will pull through this time Alwin and as soon as we have flown this transport back to the farm, I will take you to the hospital to visit him after the hospital allows it.?

Anakin was finishing his story about the grubs when the medevac touched down on the landingpad of the hospital, located on a hill overlooking the ocean and a short stretch of beach.

Enga and Dylan guided the stretcher towards the entrance and Anakin and Kevin followed them.

In the treatmentroom Enga said to the doctor who welcomed them ?he has some allergies to grubs and Anakin can tell you more about it? and she gave him the testresults her padawan had put on a datapad.

Anakin said ?I had found some grubs near the nest of a big spider and after I and Gresnik had eaten them I collected some more and put them in the vegetable salad of my master. He ate them and said that he had used the Force to kill them when they

Chapter 16

Anakin was bored. Yesterday evening he had visited his master and had seen him through a window lying in the IC-ward connected to wires and tubes with Enga just changing the waste-bags. He was looking pale and almost as white as the bandages covering his shoulder and leg.

Enga had assured him after she had hooked up another IV bag that the waste-products were leaving his body and that the treatment was going as planned. Lots of fluids were needed to purge the poison from his blood. Seeing his concerned face, she had said ?he will recover.?

And now it was well past noon and he wanted to leave this place. His master was going to be alright and No Anakin didn?t want to stay with a grumpy Obi-Wan.

Enga came to his room with a cheery look on her tired face and said ?the treatment is completed and I will guide him out of the anesthesia. And he will be complaining as usual but I will love that because it means he is on the road to recovery.?

Anakin said ?complaining about me that?s what he will do, muttering about lousy grubs and teaching me a lesson.?

Enga said ?you deserve it. By giving your master those grubs you almost killed him.?

Anakin said ?I didn?t know they were dangerous. I want to leave this dratted place and planet as soon as possible. And speaking of leaving: the chancellor has promised to take me to the Grand Anaxes speeder race and that?s five days after today. Our plan was to back after tomorrow.?

Enga said ?huh an appointment with Palpatine. That will have to wait. You will be lucky if your master can leave this hospital in five days time. Benno has contacted me and he had no objection at all to a prolonged stay at the farm. And from what I heard in the background: the initiates loved it. Doctor Horrin will give us another room and you can come to visit your master after you have had your lunch.?
She left the room muttering ?wanting to leave this place, wanting to leave his master hmph.?

Anakin was sulking until he remembered the secret comlink in a pouch on his belt. Palpatine had given him that years ago and he had used it to make his appointments with him.
And yes he had learned so much from him. Things he didn?t learn from the Jedi like galactic history and showing your emotions. The opera?s and nice restaurants he visited with Palpatine were quite pleasant.
Palpatine praised him when he had completed another test and he had showed him his first lightsaber.
Obi-Wan merely said ?well done padawan? and continued with yet another lesson. And some of those lessons were really boring because he had learned it already from Palpatine. If he couldn?t come to Coruscant at the appropriate time Palpatine would come for him. He would wait for another day.

Obi-Wan was dreaming and he was sitting with Qui-Gon in a beautiful garden. His master was holding him protectively against his broad chest and had told him a funny story.
Both were smiling and Obi-Wan was picturing the antics of Mace Windu in his mind: Mace hiding a gardengnome in the garden of a thousand fountains, Qui-Gon dropping it and finding a snake in it and after that Mace getting a new gnome. He had seen that gnome in master Windu?s apartment and asked his master about it. It had a red hat.

He blinked with his eyes. Someone with a red and green head was telling him something ?wake up and start breathing on your own.?

?Yoda? With red hair? Who has done that??

?Hey, are they pulling this same stunt on me again? No of course not? and he tried to exhale.

Chapter 17

Anakin was dreaming about speeders and podraces when a singing sound entered the dream.
?Wake up Anakin, wake up.?

He opened his sleepy blue eyes and was startled when he saw Siri looking down on him with equal sleepy blue eyes.
He said ?why do you have to wake me at this Sithly hour??

Siri said ?I am awake at this Sithly hour because we have to leave for Coruscant. Ferus has an exam late this afternoon and we have a 10 hour trip ahead of us. And Ferus did wake me and that wasn?t pleasant at all. He just deposited me and the covers outside in the wet damp grass where the Nerfs were grazing. And by doing that he was demonstrating his mastery of the Force at lifting me without waking me.?

Anakin said with a smile ?serious Ferus playing a prank at you! Poodoo!?

Siri said ?yes. Nerfpoodoo! The smell of it was drifting up my nose when I opened my eyes.?

Anakin said ?Obi-Wan should hear about that.?

Siri said ?no, don?t tell him. He will find it amusing and he likes to pester me with my dislike for Nerfs.?

Anakin said ?I promise I won?t tell him. My Big brother shouldn?t know it.?

Siri said ?come dress up and join me in the kitchen. Tara has already made breakfast and Sam and Don are milking the Nerfs.?

Anakin dressed and entered the kitchen.
Tara greeted him and said ?going so soon already??

Anakin said ?yes my master has given me permission to go and he wants me to have some fun at the big races of Anaxes. He doesn?t like races at all. He says: All those screaming engines are like howling cats. And when I am piloting a speeder he is shivering beside me when I take a fast turn.?

Siri said ?yep Obi-Wan and speeders is a disastrous combination.?

Anakin remembered that accident from only weeks ago and said ?he even gets injured by them.?

Ferus remained silent when Anakin started another talk of how good he was at piloting everything and didn?t want to antagonise Anakin. He had met the sharp tongue of him many times and Anakin was always showing that he was becoming a great Jedi.

After breakfast Anakin said goodbye to Tara and left with Siri and Ferus.

Enga was waking up from some beeping sound and when she opened her eyes she saw nurse Akki entering with new bags and replacing them. Obi-Wan was sound asleep and snoring softly.

The sun was shining brightly and when she looked at her chrono she thought ?I must have been tired, very tired.?

She got up and went to the fresher and dressed in a clean sterile gown. She asked nurse Akki to bring some supplies and placed an order for two breakfasts.

She went with the supplies to Obi-Wan and removed the breathmask and peeled back the covers.

More snoring followed but he didn?t wake up yet. ?Easy for me? she thought and removed the bandage from his leg. The wound was looking good and already closing. She put some salve on it and applied a new bandage.

Removing the shoulder-bandage revealed all colours of the rainbow on the shoulder and arm but the swelling was already reducing. She bandaged the entire shoulder again and placed the arm in a sling.

Obi-Wan choose that moment to stir awake and he said with a sleepy hoarse voice ?hoi Enga! Pestering me again??

Enga said ?already finished and it?s looking good. I have ordered some breakfast and before you have that I want you to take this? and she gave him a small glass with a bitter tasting liquid.

Obi-Wan said ?brr, but it will help with the breakfast? and when he saw nurse Akki entering with it he said ?hmm Enga I really appreciate that.?

Enga placed the bed in a reclining position and helped Obi-Wan with eating the light nutritious breakfast.

Some churning of his stomach followed but he could use a Force suggestion and it stayed down.

Doctor Horrin entered and was surprised when he saw the

 

Benno and Enga were watching this interaction and Enga said with a whispering voice ?after Anakin becomes a knight he should become a master or a teacher for the initiates. He is a natural with kids.?

Too bad this will never happen - all due to Anakin and Palps. Sniff.

 

Nerfmilk

Dylan came in and he was carrying a jug full of warm Nerfmilk which he gave to Enga.

Enga helped Obi-Wan drink some of it and the smile on his face was priceless. No churning nauseous feelings at all and the warm drink was soothing his stomach.

?That was delicious? Obi-Wan said with a smile ?and it will get me out of this bed in no time.?

Wow if Obi-Wan likes it I just have to try it!!

Chapter 18

"AAUW Enga! Why do you have to poke me with that needle? Obi-Wan muttered. "Is this your new way of waking me?"

Enga said "no I am just taking a bloodsample like we have been doing every morning. Yesterday nurse Akki took it before we were awake and before that you were under the anesthesia."

Obi-Wan asked "why? Those grubs and their waste have must have left my body chased away by those 'enormous' amounts of fluid and medicine you are feeding me through this" and he lifted his left hand a little bit. "Only some nauseous feelings remain when I am getting some liquids into my stomach."

Enga said "your midiclorian count was diminished when I took that first bloodsample in the transport and they are coming back slowly."

Obi-Wan said "Wow, those grubs are nasty and sneaky."

Enga said "you could say that and I have contacted the templehealers about it."

Anakin was waking up and he stretched lazy before he went to the fresher. No master to wake him at an early hour for meditation or lightsaber-practice and enough time to get his gear and take a public transport to the Senatehall where he would meet Palpatine.

Yesterday afternoon they had landed in one of the templehangars and Ferus had left immediately to go to the classroom for his exams.

'Huh astronavigation second course' he had mastered that a year ago and he had rehearsed with Ferus on the trip home. Ferus had even thanked him and for that Anakin was glad. 'Why does such a nice master have such a boring padawan?'

Anakin had left for his apartment after thanking Siri for the ride home and she had asked if he needed something. He had told her that he could eat in the restaurant and that he had some droidbuilding to do. And that he did: the trainingdroid was completed with the sensor that his master's foot had found.

He grinned when he remembered that nice evening and he could put the music of the Coruscant keytones and the Koruns on blaring through the apartment with no master complaining about it. And with the Jedi next door away nobody else did.

Anakin walked to one of the exits of the Jeditemple and after getting a banthaburger and shake from one of the fast-food-restaurants he boarded the public transport towards the Senatehall.

Palpatine welcomed him and said "we can leave in one hour in my private transport and I have booked two rooms in a resort hotel near the race-track. The training starts tomorrow and if you like you can enter in one of the races."

Anakin said "yippee."

During the transport to Anaxes Palpatine inquired on the whereabouts of Obi-Wan and Anakin told him of the adventures on Lingala. When he came to the grub-accident Palpatine said "you couldn't know that your master was so allergic to grubs and I have played similar pranks when I was a young kid."

Anakin said "I knew my master would be alright because the Force didn't give me any warning and keeping my mind on those initiates and the slippery trail was all I was doing when that big Barkanian lizard dislodged that rock. And that other initiate! Hmph that's a clumsy one."

Palpatine told Anakin more stories.

Obi-Wan was resting after his lunch and Enga had washed his hair and trimmed his beard. He was feeling clean and the lunch had been delicious again.

He liked that about Enga. She knew how to care for him and although he was always muttering about her ministrations, he knew she liked that and she was doing that with all patients. And they were the better for it because they often forgot the pain.

Benno came late in the afternoon and he had brought Nerfmilk. He said "yesterdays visit to the firehouse was real fu

 

sure, Ani, give ol' Palps some ideas about Obi - of course, it wasn't intentional this time, but still...watch out, Obi.

 

The whole thing is based on a true trip in RL? Wow!

 

So Palpatine is in the picture. I never could understand why Anakin believed everything Palpy told him, but then again the Jedi didn't see what an evil man he was either.

Chapter 19

Anakin was guiding the speeder towards the exit of the trainingcourse and into one of the hangars. It was his second day of training.

He was tinkering with the engine and thought 'just like those days on Ganaris with Yosh. But Ganaris was a poor backwater planet and races there were mostly for the locals and the prizecredits were small. Here on Anaxes was the big race and contenders from all over the galaxy came.'
He thought about that race on Tatooine where Master Qui-Gon Jinn had freed him and had given some credits to his mother when they sold the podracer. Last night he had dreamt again about his mother and she was in a safe and lovely place cared for and loved by a man and his son.

One of the race-officials came walking towards him and said "you can enter in one of the qualifying races the day after tomorrow. I have seen your trainingrecords and you have beaten the record of this track."

Palpatine heard that comment and said "he can race in my colours."

Anakin spent the afternoon painting the speeder in a bright yellow colour with black trimmings and was delighted when Palpatine brought him a coverall and helmet in a shiny black colour.

Obi-Wan was getting bored after lying in bed for four days. He could move his legs to keep them supple and Enga had encouraged him to do it.
Anakin had contacted him this evening and told him in an enthusiastic voice about the concert, the nice resort hotel and the races.

Speederraces and he had no love for them at all. Watching them was just boring and an assault to his ears. But they were not as dangerous as those podraces held in many places where the contestants tried to run each other off the track often resulting in a crash and death.

He was glad his padawan was enjoying himself so much and yes: Anakin needed that break from templeroutine. He was far ahead of his agemates and he loved being with Palpatine. He had visited him from the days he entered the temple and Obi-Wan allowed it.

The kid was after all an unusual entry in the order: 9 years under the tutelage of his mother and leaving her in slavery. Anakin had told him recently of the pleasant dreams about his mother.

Obi-Wan fell asleep with a statisfied smile on his face. The eveningmeal 'a vegetable stew' had stayed in at last.
It had taken longer to recover from those grubs than usual and Enga had blamed it on his diminished amount of midiclorians. Enga had promised him that he could leave his bed tomorrow and that meant no more medicine, sticky things and tubes.

Dylan had visited them bringing warm Nerfmilk with herbs and Benno came also telling them stories of the initiates stay on the farm.

Palpatine got a call from Mori Sinna and told him to transmit the data to his personal transport. He walked the short distance towards the landingpad of the hotel and entered his craft.
'Hmm interesting. Only Jedi descended from the Dunai from Moniron are affected by it. If my scientists can make some modifications it can become a powerful weapon against all Jedi. And that treatment modified of course can be the antidote. Force-powers to turn off and on with the simple use of an injection, good.'

He sent some encrypted messages to his accomplishes.

She said after they had breakfast "time to remove those thingy's and get you out of bed again."

She started to remove the leads and tubes with Obi-Wan grumping as usual. "Get into a trance Obi-Wan if you don't want to feel it. I want to remove the stitches" she ord

Chapter 20

Obi-Wan was walking to the kitchen after Enga had helped him dress in a sweatshirt and loose fitting pants and his boots. No Jeditunics for him yet because of that awkward sling. They would have to wait until his shoulder was fully recovered. Don had provided him with some old clothes from his son and they fitted perfectly.
He had promised Alwin to take him to Kesh Gonara and Alwin was just finishing his last pancake with syrup.

Obi-Wan and Alwin walked the short distance to the ridingstables and were greeted by Kesh. Two husans were standing in the ridingcorral and one had a saddle on his back.

The other was a white male and Alwin said ?he has no saddle of bridle?

Obi-Wan said ?no and I want to teach you something about this husan. He is called Nephril? and he grabbed a tuft of hay and walked towards the animal. He said softly ?Nephril? and he extended his left hand. Nephril didn?t take the hay and Obi-Wan said ?he is a well mannered husan and only takes food offered by the right hand and that?s where you are needed. I am offering him food before I take a ride.?

Alwin took the hay and Nephril took it very gently from his outstretched hand. He beamed with joy and said ?now we can go for a ride.?

Obi-Wan used the Force and landed light as a feather on Nephril's back and Alwin mounted the other husan. Together they rode to the exit of the corral where Kesh was mounted on a striking dark brown young male husan and they went to the trail.

Kesh pointed to some flowers and Alwin said that he knew them and so it was with almost everything they met. Alwin was delighted when he saw some furry little animals feeding their young ones.

Alwin loved the ride and when they were on the return he said ?I want to learn more about riding without a saddle and bridle?

Obi-Wan said ?when we return to the temple I will teach you to ride on the husan I found when I was an initiate.?

Alwin said ?I will love that and I have seen her some times when Yoda taught us to ride.?

When they approached the ridingcorral a soft snorting sound was heard and Nauran came trotting towards them with one of the stableboys running after him saying ?he just broke loose when he spotted your return Mr. Gonara.?

Kesh smiled when he saw Nauran stopping next to Nephril and when he nuzzled Obi-Wan softly on his injured shoulder.

Alwin said ?Wow, that?s a lovely husan.?

Kesh said ?he is the father of Nephril and he has met Obi-Wan before. All husans have a very good memory.?

Obi-Wan guided Nephril and Nauran back to the stables and took care of them helped by Alwin. Next Alwin unsaddled his own mount and Obi-Wan observed him. That boy is a natural with living beings and so like my own Master immersed in the living Force.

They thanked Kesh and returned to the farm with Alwin talking the whole time about his experience at the farm and the things he and the others had learned from Don and Sam.

Obi-Wan remembered the stones and shells and walked to the stable where the other initiates were playing in the hay. He said when he spotted Benno who was buried with only his head visible in the hay ?Benno do you have that sack of stones and shells I want to give to the initiates??

Benno muttered ?if they will release me, I can get to the transport to get them.?

Some cheering of ?presents, presents? followed and Benno could extricate himself from the hay and he exited the stable only to return shortly afterwards with the sack.

Obi-Wan and Benno gave each initiate a stone and a shell and Benno had to explain what kind of stone and shell each of them got. Sam came and could offer a lot of help with it.

I just love to see Obi with the animals...it's so heartwarming. Very nice bedtime story - that's where I'm headed now.

Enga thought of Obi-Wan?s recovery as she saw him chewing with disinterest on a biscuit and sipping from his warm Nerfmilk.

'After that trip to Kesh Gonara he had plopped down in one of the chairs on the veranda and slept until Don awoke him for diner. She had asked Alwin how the visit was and Alwin had told her that it was a short easy ride, nothing strenuous and he had helped Obi-Wan caring for the husans.
For Obi-Wan diner was a simple but nourishing soup and chocolate-pudding. After that diner he had been complaining about some nauseous feelings in his stomach. And for him to admit that it must be very bad. He was always a difficult patient, trying to avoid the healer?s at all costs.

His midiclorian count was almost back to normal and she had said this morning when she took the bloodsample ?this is the last one on Lingala.? And that look on Obi-Wan?s face was priceless when she said that Aaqu would run more tests on him when he returned to the temple tomorrow. Yes Obi-Wan needed some more time to recover fully.?

Benno and Enga were driving two speeders with the initiates and Obi-Wan towards the beach. It was a beautiful warm day and everybody was dressed in swimming-gear. Shh-tira was present because she liked the swim in a warm ocean.

After arriving at the beach Obi-Wan said ?Alwin, let?s see if my friend is present? and he walked to the surf.

As soon as he waded into the water a blueblack shape was appearing in the distance and it approached rapidly. Alwin followed him and saw another Lingalan swimming towards them. That one was guiding a young baby born a year ago in these same waters.

Obi-Wan started to swim lying on his back using only his legs and the Lingalan came to him and touched his injured shoulder lightly. It was his friend and the Lingalan waited patiently until he could grab the huge fin with his left hand.

Alwin grabbed the fin of the other Lingalan and soon the two were having a gentle ride with the baby Lingalan swimming rounds and displaying what it had learned.

Alwin said with an exuberant smile on his face after they came to the beach again ?that was nice. That Lingalan knows you are injured. And did you see how they care for their young ones??

Obi-Wan said ?yes they are good parents and they like to please humans. When they sense you want to have a fast ride, they give it to you. Anakin was covered in seaweed after his and master Kaagi took his Lingalan through jumps and dives. You should have seen him!?

Alwin asked ?are they Force sensitive??

Obi-Wan answered ?may be.?


Enga was smiling when she saw Obi-Wan emerging from the surf. Swimming with that Lingalan was good to get his strength in his legs back. Obi-Wan walked towards her and plopped down on a towel.
Enga removed the sling and sodden bandage and Obi-Wan got his first look at his shoulder. All the colours of the rainbow were showing on it and when she moved the joint a bit he gave a soft gasp.

?Still tender and needing support? Enga said and she put a new bandage on the shoulder and placed the arm in a clean sling. ?You will need Kaagi and his therapy to get it supple again.?

Obi-Wan said ?with help from my friends I have no doubt I will recover? and he gave a wink to Alwin.

The others were finished with their waterfight and Shh-tira started to dig a hole using her big claws. Benno was dragged by them towards the hole and put in it. He smiled when they covered his body with the sand until only his head was remaining. Shells were used to decorate the heap.
A count-down followed and with Zero Benno used the Force and emerged from the hole with sand flying in all directions showering everybody, Obi-Wan and Enga included.

Enga said with mock disgust ?sandy sandwiches? when she saw the pick-nick basked sharing their fate.

Its nice to see Obi-Wan with so many friends.


Obi-Wan said ?with help from my friends I have no doubt I will recover? and he gave a wink to Alwin.

But he better get better soon before Palpatine turns Anakin.

Chapter 22

It was an eager and happy bunch of kids that entered the kitchen for breakfast. Today they were returning to the Jeditemple and they had a lot of stories to tell to the crèchemaster.
Obi-Wan and Enga came a short time later.

Benno said ?all is packed and ready? and he smiled when Obi-Wan took a seat.

Obi-Wan was dressed in a red sweatshirt which contrasted sharply with the white sling.

Benno asked ?where did you find that shirt??

Obi-Wan answered ?Enga got it from Tara and it has been an old shirt of Sam. When we are back at the temple, I can get my own comfortable shirts of a less garish colour.?

Enga snickered ?red suits you just like that yellow dr??

Obi-Wan said ?don?t you start too Enga.?

Breakfast was enjoyable and when Obi-Wan finished his warm Nerfmilk with herbs he said ?I am gonna miss this.?

Sam said ?my brother Tad will bring you some after he visits us. He comes here often and when he returns to Coruscant he is always taking some ?products from the countryside? home.?

After much goodbyes and well wishing they entered the transport and when Obi-Wan was about to enter it he spotted two approaching husans with one rider. Both animals were only having a rein around their neck.

Obi-Wan said ?Alwin some of our other friends want to say goodbye too?

Alwin and Obi-Wan exited the transport and Kesh Gonara greeted them and dismounted from Nephril.

Kesh said ?I want to say goodbye and Nephril and Nauran too.?

Alwin stroked softly Nauran?s nose and was delighted when the animal gave him a short playful push and began to play with him copying every move.

Nephril nuzzled Obi-Wan?s right shoulder and breathed softly.
The animal and the Jedi master were enjoying this moment of peace.

Kesh said ?Alwin is an animal whisperer? and explained it to Obi-Wan.

Obi-Wan said ?Alwin, come the others are anxious to leave.?

Alwin gave Nauran a soft pat on his back and came to the transport with Nauran following him.

Kesh took the reins and mounting Nephril again he said ?have a safe journey and come and visit my place next time.?

Alwin and Obi-Wan said ?we will? and they said goodbye and boarded the transport.

An uneventful trip back followed and it was late in the afternoon when the transport touched down on one of the landingpads of the Jeditemple.
Alwin said before he left with the rest of the initiates ?I will visit you tomorrow master Kenobi.?

Obi-Wan said ?I am looking forward to it? and he exited the transport and started to walk towards the lift leading to the residential area with a mischievous smile on his face.

Enga stopped him and said ?trying to escape my care again Obi-Wan. You have an appointment with master Aaqu.?

Obi-Wan huffed ?ah yes, those tests and I have no doubt Kaagi will be waiting as well.?

Enga said ?sure.?

A soft giggle was heard when they were about to enter the lift and Obi-Wan turned and saw Siri emerging from one of the other lifts. She said ?red is even more lovely on you. More than that yellow dress? and she gave him a hug saying ?good to see you old gundark. Are you going to your apartment??

Obi-Wan said ?no Enga and Aaqu want to torture me some more.?

Siri said ?ah those grubs. I will ask Serinka to make a bookworm-salad for you.?

Obi-Wan said ?please no more grubtalk and Benno made those bookworms and added them to Jocasta Nu?s salad.?

Benno was guiding the initiates to another exit and Shh-tira with her sharp hearing abilities asked ?what are bookworms??

Benno explained it to them and the laughter of the initiates was heard until they rounded a corner.

Enga said ?come Obi-Wan, master Aaqu is waiting.?

Siri said when they entered the lift to the healer?s ward ?you are gonna stay in medroom number 9.?

Obi-Wan wanted to make a reply but the lift carried them away.
