It makes the most sense as a heel turn, he finally lost it after years of abuse.
It's a shame we were denied this years ago because Vince thought t-shirt $$$ were more important than a character refresh.

Also, that crowd was wild.
We need more arenas like that

 

European crowds are the best!!

Doing these shows for the lead up to Mania was genius. Really brings the hype level up.

Also side note. Stop wasting Theory! I’ve been saying for a while that he could be a huge baby face in the company. He’s so talented, from his in-ring ability and selling to his promos. Seeing him get squashed by Jey Uso was just sad.

 

I did not have John Cena and MJF playing different versions of the same core character on my 2025 Bingo Card, but you know what? I'm here for it.

And Cena is right about one thing - bye and large, wrestling fans are terrible.

As we reach the end of March and are well on the road to Wrestlemania, I’m looking back at the year WWE has had so far and there’s already been so many incredible matches.

This is my top 10 so far:

1. Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens [unsanctioned] (Elimination Chamber) - 5 stars
2. Oba Femi vs. Austin Theory vs. Grayson Waller (Vengeance Day) - 4.75 stars
3. John Cena vs. CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Damian Priest vs. Logan Paul (Elimination Chamber) - 4.75 stars
4. Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens [ladder match] (Royal Rumble) - 4.75 stars
5. Je’Von Evans vs. Ethan Page [street fight] (Roadblock) - 4.75 stars
6. Nathan Frazer & Axiom vs. Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura (Vengeance Day) - 4.5 stars
7. Rhea Ripley vs. Iyo Sky (Raw) - 4.5 stars
8. CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins [steel cage] (Raw) - 4.5 stars

9 and 10 would be out of: Oba Femi vs. Moose (Roadblock), Drew McIntyre vs. Seth Rollins (Raw), and Iyo Sky & Dakota Kai vs. Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez (Raw).
All three matches scraping into the 4.5 stars range.

I also didn’t include the Royal Rumbles themselves because it’s hard to compare them to other matches. But both were awesome.

 

A knock on the forbidden door we really need to open:

 

I don’t watch AEW but… what the hell was that spot Moxley did with the spikes? I am speechless.

 

AEW has become an indie mudshow.

 

Remains true.

But the specific pearl clutching around the SPIKE spot seems rather insincere to me. Not saying it wasn't gruesome and it wasn't poorly planned.

 

What is the hold up on giving Europe a big PPV?
The crowds are brilliant, imagine how a Royal Rumble or Summerslam would be in these arenas.

This week's Dynamite was freaking incredible. The spike spot got the most press, but the entire show rocked and the main event between Megan Bayne and Kris Statlander was a hell of a hoss fight. Timeless Toni on commentary was fantastic. Her promo at the end of the show was just unhinged.
