So Vince fondles Sable's silicone every week and Linda gets tombstoned...That's one crazyass family.

Why was she out there anyway? What was she going to do?

    TNN censors > TSN censors

we saw everything - Kane did a good job of not letting Linda drop on her head.
I like the monster gimmick - they should continue to bring him to ringside in chains.

Was it just me, or did that RAW have the most commercial breaks ever ?

How's about this for a Goldust angle?

We all know that he was supposed to serve on jury duty (whether or not he did is irrelevant, we'll say he did for storyline purposes). What if he was the deciding vote in whether or not to convict a man? What if he was the reason the man was found guilty and lost everything and served jail time? Why not have this man show up in the WWE looking for revenge on the juror that ruined his life? He could be an escaped convict whose sole purpose in the WWE is to destroy Goldust.

    Let's hope it never happens....

Out of curiousity, will Vince even acknowledge that his wife got Tombstoned on SD?

Raw was pretty lame tonight. I'd rather watch paint dry than listen to Linda. i got to say this though..Shawn Michaels looked pretty good tonight. That was aq long ass match. I'm sure Jericho did some carrying, but the showstopper still has some stuff. One thing, though-That was the absolute gayest outfit I've ever seen. That was gayer than anything Billy and Chuck ever wore during their gimmick.

Also, I missed the end of Raw cause I had to go to work- Did they make Jericho the 4th member of evolution?

Does Vince even acknowledge that he has a wife?

    Not yet anyway.

you'd think he'd at least have given Jeff the royalties from his own life ...

I find this to be ABSOLUTLY repugnant! No one should have the rights to the story of a person's life EXCEPT that person. Something is terribly wrong with our copywright laws.

RAW hightlight for me was Jerico winning for once in a long time.

I was very disappointed with the Kane/RVD match. Can't they have at least ONE big match in which there's an actual winner!?

As for Vince acknowledging Linda being tombstoned, I highly doubt it. Those two might as well be complete strangers.

Jericho went over (mostly) clean! Woo!

And they are finally doing something right with Kane!

Rest of Raw sucked ass though.

I agree, the show was nothing special except for the Michaels/Jericho rematch. Great stuff there although I could have done without all of the interference.

I guess I would have to agree with the general consensus on RAW...

But I truly enjoyed the Hurricane/Rosey/Goldust skit. ;)

The show was nothing special?! What?! The people at the 411 and Slashwrestling boards are getting past their smarkiness and commenting on how great the show was last night, and you guys can't? They advanced their storylines well, unlike the Katie Vick stuff, showed that an issue you smarks thought was serious (Austin, a non-wrestler, taking out wrestlers) was a planned part of the storyline, HBK/Jericho rocked the house, Trips and Evolution begin to own it old school, and LINDA freakin' MCMAHON gets Tombstoned! Nothing special? Nearly everything was special in this show.

Okay, so....next week, Linda McMahon comes out in a red Kane-style bodysuit...

Aw, hell. This isn't gonna work out, is it? :_| ;)

So Vince fondles Sable's silicone every week and Linda gets tombstoned...That's one crazyass family.

    Absolutely :D
You know, they've really gotta trust Kane not to screw up with that...one little slip and he'd be fired at the speed of light. Same with Pete Rose back at WMXIV, I guess, but still...he wasn't the boss's wife.

One last point...I thought about it during last week's Raw really...Kane is really reminding me of The Kurrgan from Highlander...now, he needs to take out Sean Connery.

Qonas - everybody is entitled to their own opinion. I thought that, aside from HBK/Y2J and Kane, the show was boring. That's my opinion. You have a different one. I can accept that, why can't you?

Last night I was channel surfing and at 1:13 in the morning they were showing the Warrior again on C-span 2. Man oh man that was some crazy stuff. I can't imagine that anyone in the audience understood him. And he sure does look different than he did when he was in WCW.

And to think when I was a kid he was my favorite. But hey when you're a kid the 80's warrior was pretty cool.

I'd have liked it, if it wasn't Rosey. He's a bigger waste of space than Rikishi! If it was Nova, on the other, then it would have at least made sense.

I didn't watch all of Raw last night. I was at Six Flags all day long. I did get home just in time to tape the final segment of Raw, I personally dug the whole "escorting" Kane to the ring, total Bad@$$!!

Although the whole Kane/RVD scuffle was quite intertaining, and seeing Kane beat the hell out of everyone including Linda McMahon.......I honestly think that if they actually had a MATCH and then possibly ended with the same ending.......it would have been better. I was a little disappointed but ya know what...I still thought it was AWESOME! Great job!!!

Now I'm going to go and watch the rest of Raw now.............

Backstage Frustration With The Kane Angle, Face Or Heel?, more
    Story By: Ben Johnson
    July 22, 2003

    - The Torch is reporting that the backstage frustration continues as WWE once again defied logic with the Kane storyline. Last night, WWE gave three different stories regarding JR pressing charges. Firstly, if Kane is in house arrest, that means charges have already been pressed, whether by Jim Ross or if the authorities just stepped in. Then, Austin said that JR was not going to press charges. And, no more than 30 minutes later, Coach & Lawler questioned whether he would press charges. Add to the fact that the guards brought Kane to the ring in shackles, then let him destroy RVD, and eventually Linda, makes no logical sense.

    - Additionally, Kane was getting quite a few babyface cheers in the arena. WWE wants Kane to be a heel, but the fact that he cannot completely make the turn (and I would assume it has something to do with the fact that he's attacked management like Linda & Bischoff) further frustrates WWE officials

The Rock's Return, McMahon Trashes Hart Family & More
    Story By: Amish Patel
    July 22, 2003

The latest word on The Rock appearing on RAW is that if his scheduling allows it, he will be on the 8/4 edition of the show in Vancouver. There is talk that if he returns on the show, he should just do a brief cameo seeing as he wont be back after that for months.

For those who missed the report yesterday, The Rock's new movie will be called "The Rundown" and will be released on September 26, 2003.

TSN in Canada edited out the Kane Chokeslamming Linda McMahon segment to end RAW last night. TSN has been known to censor violence against women.

During Raw on TSN last night, Vince McMahon cut three promos for upcoming WWE house shows in Canada. In one promo, he mentioned the Hart family. Here's what he said: "It's no secret that I dislike most everything, and most everybody, coming from Calgary, especially most of the Hart family members." He then went on to say that he now hates Calgary because it is where he's going to have to deal with Zach Gowen at a house show next month. This is more proof that WWE doesn't want the Bret Hart issue to die.

Backstage RAW Notes: Gail Kim's Push, The Coach & More
    Story By: Amish Patel
    July 22, 2003

The word making the rounds backstage at RAW last night was that Jim Ross is a big proponent of Gail Kim since her debut. Ross has put in a good word to upper management which explains her recent push.

As seen on RAW last night, Arn Anderson has returned to the company after taking time off to address a personal situation. He is back as an agent and there was some talk that the reason he returned last night was because of the release of Terry Taylor last week.

The backstage feeling on Jonathan Coachman is that although he is a very nice guy backstage and tries very hard to call the show, he is not quite ready to fulfill Jim Ross' duties in full. Ross is expected back by Summerslam
