Question about Anakin's hair!!! (Hyperspace)

Okay, like so many people say, sorry if this has already been posted.....

Alright, so if Anakin's hair is much longer in Ep3, like 1970s style, then why when he's a ghost in Ep6 is it much shorter? Did he get a haircut while in ghost form or something? Or is it that if he had lived his whole life as a jedi then that is what his hair would look like? I don't know, but I'm curious if there's a simple answer out there. Thanks.

I think I agree with the theory about how anakin's hair would've looked like that if he was always a jedi...

ALSO - notice how his jedi OUTFIT was not the same either, in AOTC he had a dark Brown, and I THINK that's what he'll still have in Ep. III, but in Ep. 6 his outfit is light tan like obi wan's... that's food for thought...

That assumption makes the most logical sense.

 

Not to mention he looks 20 years older and is fat too, so it's not just the hair. But I agree it's what he would have looked like if he had still been alive and been a jedi.

 

I think it shows that if Anakin had never fallen to the Dark Side he would have eventually cut his hair and donned light Jedi clothing.

LOL... the real reason is that GL never planned for it 20 years ago. The same reason that Padme is never mentioned. Times have changed, it makes more sense for Anakin to have longer hair and darker robes. It's just one of those slight continuity errors... you have to suspend your disbelief, or make something up. If I were making something up, I would say it's what he would have looked like had he never turned... sort of a Matrix-like residual image.

Hey, isn't it a rule among Jedi Padawans that they must keep their hair trimmed? I'm very sure I remember reading that that's why Obi-Wan had his hair that way for TPM. So if Anakin has grown his hair and his Padawan braid is gone, can we assume that in the beginning of Episode III, Anakin is now a Jedi Knight? And if he is, then that means that Obi-Wan should have taken the next step as a Jedi Master.

 

It would imply that but, I think it's been stated that Obi-Wan Kenobi is a Jedi Knight at the time of his death but, I'm not sure where I read or heard that.

It could be that Anakin's longer hair is due to him going AWOL rather than getting official Jedi Knight promotion...more like a rogue Jedi with no time for a haircut

 

But his Padawan braid is also gone. That's something they don't cut until they're Jedi Knights.

Maybe the hair he has as a Force Spirit is how he would look had he not been in a suit and his body messed up so much.

True, but then again, maybe he goes rogue from the Jedi. Cutting off his braid and letting his hair grow long, etc. Hmm, I'm really not sure since I'm uncertain how connected to the Jedi Order he'll be at the start of Ep3.
