So the other day, I went to my local comic store. I decided to pick of Golden Age of the Sith. In that they barely mention Ragnos since he's already dead, but he does come back in ghost form.

Now, a lot of people talk about how powerful Ragnos was, where do they get that info? All I see is a dead man and a ghost (which I guess is impressive that he could ghost), but yeah, where can I get info on Ragnos' life?

He appears in Tales of the Jedi as another ghost.

His stats in the RPG are equal to Palpatines.

Oh yes, and he also is the "Cthulhu" figure in Jedi Academy the Video Game.

Boba Fett became cool with far less.

Basic facts? From here, I guess:

He is also mentioned in the KOTOR games. In KOTOR 1 you visit his grave, in KOTOR 2 you get a short lecture about him. And I think he figures in some other games too, but I haven´t played them.

You do forget, comrade, this supremely important fact:

Boba Fett actually looked cool. Marka (Slovak for Mark?) Ragnos looks like something from Conan.:p

Marka Ragnos looked imperious, an orignal Sith Lord:

    Naga Sadow looked far cooler.

I mean, seriously, who doesn't love that hat?

Anyway, I'm surprised your comic shop had the old TOTJ stuff. Coincidentally, I found some at my local shop yesterday, but all they had was GAOTS #4 and FOTSE #1, 4, and 5. Which issue does Ragnos appear in?

If you haven't played Jedi Academy, pretty much the whole plot of that game is centered around the return of Marka Ragnos.

That's what I mean: Those horns! That hair! He looks like a Drow with no sense of taste.

I don't, I'm afraid. He looks like he's aping Xerxes of Persia or someone like that.

I've actually had Jedi Academy for over a year now, and haven't bothered to finish (Same with KOTOR, and I bought KOTOR II the day it came out. Haven't touched either... ugh)

Edit: Might I add, I'm not a big fan of square head Sadows look. Ragnos looks very cool with his horns, very conqueror like.

Ragnos was concidered weak for a Sith, he didnt expand the Sith Empire or anything but helped further and cease internal disputes to keep them happy and occupied. Only when he died did Naga and Ludo begin to try and expand the Empire. So infact although in his lifetime he did very little congeuring or warring he infact did what Sith do best, scheme like mad lol

    He expanded it a little.

I also remind you he worked to ensure it when Kresh and Sadow destroyed it.

    Sadow for his mad ambition

    Kresh for being a jackass.

Didn't Ragnos's ghost also give Exar Kun the title of Dark Lord?

Did Exar Kun have a Sith name or did he just keep his name?

Taking a sith name back then wasn't necessary, its just a few pages after the picture I posted.

Ragnos was a basic Sith, he knew of the Republic, he thought it wiser to remain hidden until they grew more, turned out he was kind of right.

One look at Ragnos and you know he is a Sith, those horns are obviousley not his

Exactly...looking through ancient Sith lore, Ragnos came across information about the Republic and the Dark Jedi that were exiled roughly 20,000 years before Ragnos became Dark Lord. He understood that the Sith Empire was not strong enough to take on the Republic during his rule, especially with the petty squabbling of lesser Sith Lords. Therefore, Ragnos decided to keep his knowledge of the Republic secret (until after his death).

As far as the horns are concerned, I believe they're parts of his helmet.

And I'm supposed to say what, exactly?

That I'm wondering how in Ragnos' minty breath you kill that lich monster in the Crooked Crane Inn, Athkalta city gates; Baldur's Gate 2? I literally have no idea how to play this antiquated game, what to use against what foe. Wizards are mucking me up like a Sadow slumber party, and I can't carry unlimited items. I swear by Ragnos' scowl I was tricked into buying this SNES-graphics game! Minsc is funny, granted, but I'd play Homeworld 2's 12th mission any day. The Gamebanshee online guide is useless!

I know just where you can shove Jonny Irenicus, but instead I'll let you enlighten me how to fight an average wizard, without getting frozen and butchered. [face_praying]

Oh, and while you're magnanamous this fine night, how do I memorise spells, and then access them later? You'd think they'd make it easier, but noooo. How do I choose a spell from my cache so Aerie can quick-click them.

If you mean the Crooked Crane Lich, dont even bother. Come back in Chapter 6 when youre more capable of dealing with it. In Chapters 2 and 3 it'll just rain Meteor Storms down on you. Then again, using a scroll of Protection from undead on each of your characters means the damn thing cant even tell you're hitting it.

Currently penniless, so purchasing spells is a hollywood luxury I can't afford. I tried to jelly myself for magic immunity, and entered/exited the room to waste his spells.

By Sadow, he can still cast them after 10 mins!

This could require some serious expertise then. What class is your main character and who is in your party? Ill find a way around this eventually.
