I had a weird dream last night...

Nom Anor was already instigating civil wars and unrest during the PT and Dark Times... going by the name of An(d)or...

The Vong seeded undercover agents in ooglith masquers already at childrens age across the galaxy where they might be picked up and raised by folks, like Kassa got by Marva oblivious of his true nature.
Somehow he survived Rogue One, thx to Vong biotech protecting him maybe.

His sister which he never found so far.. would become Vongerella. [face_whistling]

Dread Lord, eh? TOR MMO vibes! Totally unintentional connection maybe to the Dread Masters or any KOTOR Vong scouts squared with a special breed of Sith Lords?

Do you know the German traditional song "Heidenröslein" by Johann Wolfgang Goethe? There is an English translation, as like you may know it.

I recalled this song, when I re-read The Final Prophecy, where Nom Anor is killing Nen Yim in ch. 28.
Actually, when a boy draws the girl closer and his eye pupil gets dilated, that indicates some affection, but speaking of Nom Anor, everything is completely different.

Actually, things are repeating, when Nom Anor teams up with Onimi after leaving the Shamed Ones. Before, he mourned with Kunra (but I almost had her first) Niiriit's death, later he kills Nen Yim - Onimi's love interest - to team up with the jester later. I wonder if they did muse about Nen Yim as Nom Anor did about Niiriit with Kunra before.[face_thinking]

ceiran: Hah! Though if anyone in Andor is Nom Anor, it's surely more likely to be Luthen...? [face_thinking] [face_mischief]

Sudooku: I like it!! That sort of is the sort of thing that just happens in Keyes novels, whether it's intended or not, but that one might be deliberate... [face_thinking]

If Luthen is Nom Anor, I now picture Nom Anor in my head dancing and putting on his ooglith masquer in his private secretly hidden bathroom on his ship Luthen style. Lol! Private Life of Nom is my new favourite thing! And him having a store of GFFA anitquity? No wonder he got attached to that galaxy... but who then is Nom/Luthen's store/babysitter Kleya?

Actually that time, Nom Anor should had have a great interest in destroying a technical abomination like the Death Star. Of course he wouldn't have stayed with Jyn to die on Scarif. But he could had orchestrated perfectly the handing over of the Death Star plans to Leia, just as he organized later for Randa the Hutt handing over Tsavong Lah's Villip to Leia at Duro.

Depends how quickly you can recover from the sobbing, nailbiting and tending to your emotional wounds reading these books and comics! Otherwise a few breaks to breath and refocus are necessary. Maybe even therapy after the Forcephilosophical rollercoaster you are up to engage in. But... on the positive side, and if you can restrain yourself and not check the boards plentiful and biblical amounts of discussion of these works after each to make sure you didn't miss or misinterpret anything, you should be done within a couple of weeks.

But if you got kids, work, a wife or a life and other such distractions... oh boy, see you in another life! ;)

So the Yuuzhan Vong devastated their galaxy and supposedly rendered it mostly uninhabitable. But, don't the Vong also possess the technology to reverse that kind of damage? If they were able to terraform and revive Duro and Coruscant, they could have done the same for dead worlds in their own galaxy. Or even if they had smashed all their planets to pieces with Yo'gand's Core, they could have used dovin basals to pull asteroids together to form new planets, or drag planets into new orbits to make them more inhabitable.

Have you heard of Ossus Project?
    https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Ossus_Project

It seems like the galaxy wasn't too keen to ask for help, they likely had a bad rep.

Err what I meant to say was, the Vong probably could have rebuilt the worlds in their original home galaxy, rather than making the voyage through the intergalactic void.

Depends on what they did, if the planet is dust it wouldn't much matter what they can do.

My guess is that it was beyond the methods of their Shaper protocols to fix them so the Priests likely made up some junk about another galaxy would be better to rebuild, proclaiming it was the gods' desires. And think of all the infidels they can sacrifice for their bloodlust and a few hundred worlds they could destroy but still have plenty left over to live on. My guess is though, they'd have ended up in the same cycle had they not been stopped.

Is this actually established as true? I remember it as one of the theories presented as explaining why the Vong was coming to GFFA but not as something that was stated as being true.

    @Gamiel
very interesting approach. We know Harrar's stories from TLP and TUF. Stated as being true would mean we have new films and books about that, or other references in the following book series. Actually it could have been that the Yuuzhan Vong fled from another, even more dangerous enemy. Did we know that all the droid races were really annihilated in their former galaxy? That would also explain their zealous hatred against machines, droids etc. But of course that would had been too shameful to tell the next generations in the world ships travelling through the big void. Perhaps even Harrar didn't know better.

They can rebuild worlds that are barely alive still but truly dead ones ravaged by Abominor? What if those turned their galaxys worlds into techworlds the Vong only could destroy?

There was the Cremlevian War which devastated most of the Yuuzhan Vong home galaxy. I think it's pretty heavily implied or stated outright from Nen Yim's words and thoughts that the Yuuzhan Vong were looking for a new home, and weren't simply on a religious crusade for its own sake.

Coruscant was pretty much covered in machines and technology, and the Yuuzhan Vong completely transformed it, didn't they?

I mean that does get reversed in under 10 years, so maybe they didn't. (i wonder if the ring was left)
